Family Getaway

Took a few days as a family to getaway and enjoy being together. The house was perfect for 7 adults and 8 young grandkids. Location was perfect for us.

Summer retreat

Besides this property’s great views, it has lots of room and amenities for children and adults to relax and enjoy the time together! The proximity to SDC is a bonus! Thx for a great time!

Beautiful Home!

This home was perfect for our extended family gathering. It was clean and comfortable. The owner kept us well informed during our stay. We love that each individual family had their own bathroom. I would highly recommend this rental for a great family gathering.

July 2024 Family Branson Trip

We enjoyed staying at the house. It was clean and has beautiful views. It was a bit of a hassle to have to drive the trash to the dumpsters. It would have been nice to have a closer receptacle for trash.

Family getaway

Our family (kids and grandkids total of 15) had a great time. Nice open space for all of us. Kitchen lacked a few things we could've used, but we made due. The 2 dishwashers was really nice when we had so many dishes after meals! I would suggest a baby gate for the stairs and maybe some oversize bean bags for more comfortable seating upstairs, but overall it was great for us.

Silver Dollar City Stay

Property is new, and immaculate inside and out. Furnishings were very nice, and thoughtfully chosen. Plenty of bed and bath space, with tons of room for a large gathering. The numerous games and hot tub were lifesavers and kept the kids more than occupied while battling the weather. We were really impressed with the home and do not hesitate to recommend it to other vacationers. Check-In was effortless and our host followed up a couple of times, just to make sure things were going well. Overall it was a huge winner

Great for large family

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for our large family. The teens/young adults hung out in the game room/lower floor bedrooms without disturbing the older adults on the top floor. Lots of fun memories made on the deck and hot tub area too. The check-in was easy and the company answered our questions quickly. We definitely recommend this property.

The house itself was spacious for our family of 12. Arcade game great for kids; view beautiful. Response time for issues was excellent, although results less than acceptable. We did get sample bottles of shampoo delivered and dirty steps seemed cleaner, but upper balcony table was filthy, cushions smelly, BBQ door broken and inside BBQ pit gross! Pots and pans need replacing, as they are Teflon-coated and heavily scratched. (Needs a stock pot, mixing bowls and replacement salad bowl. Rug in upper bedroom dirty and a trip hazard; taping it to floor less than ideal. I expected better….. .

A few housekeeping problems. The ice maker was not useable. The sun shades by the couch was broken. Floors could have been cleaner. This unit is on the second floor and we had a handicap person who had a problem with the stairs

Branson Near Silver Dollar City

Overall, the house was very clean, modern and well equipped. The site is located near Silver Dollar City and an easy drive to the strip in Branson. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which was nice. There were 2 sets of washers and dryers if you generate a lot of laundry. The hot tub was a nice feature although not used much due to the heat. There was also a frig/freezer on the lower level to provide additional capacity. The area has construction of new houses on-going and the streets into the development are very steep so after heavy rains there was some mud around the newer houses but not ours. The only suggestion I have is to add different/new games to the game room. The kids used the air hockey table but neither of the arcade games.

We would just like to extend our gratitude to RentBranson, We had booked through another host almost 18 months prior on a similar site. Five days before we left the host canceled our reservation. We had to scramble to find a place to stay. Luckily we found the The Modern Lake House, which was perfect for our family. Huge kitchen with two dishwashers perfect for big gatherings. The two decks were are happy spot, whether in the hot tub looking at the lake or watching tv from one of the two outdoor sectional, we could not get enough of out there. Each bedroom having an en suite made traveling with friends still feel private. Even though we did not use the bunk house bedroom, it was an amazing idea. Six bunks in one bedroom, our kids would have loved it when they were younger. Thank you RentBranson for a wonderful week. They were always available and offered multiple modes to communicate.

Cleanliness issues but a really beautiful property with a great location. Communicated well before and during visit. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the house. We found other people’s hair and toe nails in several bathrooms upon arrival, bathroom floors were dirty, the dining room chairs were covered in dust and footprints, etc. We spent several hours cleaning the home upon arrival. It appeared clean but once you looked closer it was clear the cleaning crew did the bare minimum not sweeping or mopping floors. We left the house cleaner than it was when we arrived. We shared photos and videos (we have lots more) of the unclean areas with the property manager and requested a refund of the cleaning fee paid given we had to reclean the property. It took several weeks to hear back from the property manager and the resolution was unsatisfactory. In addition, we had several issues during our stay that created inconveniences including the lower level AC not working during a heat wave (had repair tech out two days) and more than half of the bedrooms being locked upon arrival despite us renting the entire house (given the wrong code to open doors so had to recontact the owner). It was unfortunate the kids had to sleep in hot bedrooms after playing softball all day. Both issues were rectified over time and the communication during the stay was good around both.
