My daughter and I spent 2 nights at the Scotsman. It is a lovely hotel very close to the Royal Mile and just over the bridge from the train station. A great location. The hotel is beautiful and iconic. The carpets in the hallway seemed a bit worn, but our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was helpful, and the hotel had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

1st room was very small and air fan noisy. They switched our room to more quite better played out room. We had dinner and breakfast at hotel for a 3 day stay. Dinner was okay if you like hamburgers. The whole place has a wierd layout.
