Holiday Inn Bratislava - slightly disappointing,..

Complimentary Wifi only works at the lobby? Expedia need to be more specific on the booking site, when I did my booking wifi was included in my room rate - but do I have to go to lobby everytime I need to retrieve emails?? Disappointing, misinformed. Hotel website says b'fast include FRESH Orange juice and premium coffee? It does not, juice is from concentrate, coffee wasn't great either. Wait staff at the Brasserrie didn't seem to like their job..nobody cared to set up a b'fast table for us hence we had to "hunt" for cutttlery, napkins etc. I would hardly choose Holiday Inn again.

Standardní hotel, kde člověk ví, co může očekávat

Ideální pro krátkodobý pobyt. Velmi pěkné wellness, bazén, sauna, pára, posilovna. Ne úplně nové, ale udržované. Snídaně dobrá, ovoce, slanina, uzený losos. Džusy nestály za nic a výběr sladkostí mohl být širší. Parkování za rozumné peníze.

Das Hotel an sich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber in gutem Zustand, wird professionell geführt, das Frühstück sehr umfangreich, wenn auch Letzteres nicht bis zum Schluss voll bestückt war. Das Personal ist an der Rezeption zuvorkommend und bemüht!

Good business hotel

We arrived from a late inbound flight and didn't check in until 1am. The receptionist (Michaela) on duty was very helpful and friendly. She really took the time to show us items on the map, explained how to use the public transport system, sold us the tickets we required to get into the city and was a pleasure to deal with. We had a room on the 10th floor with two single beds. The room was very clean and comfortable. A mini bar was available but we did not avail of it. We did use the hotel pool facility the following night and this was lovely too. The pool and changing facilities were very clean and there was a staff member on duty to hand us towels and keys for the lockers in the changing area. This hotel is outside of the city centre and close to the business district; this is the reason why I chose those hotel as I had some meetings in the neighbourhood. There is a tram and bus line close by or you could take a taxi; the hotel organized taxis for us which were very prompt but expensive, but this is the taxi company, not the hotel. Wifi connection was fast and worked with a simple password on multiple devices. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in Bratislava for business; if you're coming for leisure, be advised on the commute (4km from the old town) but a very good hotel overall.

Good value

Not right in the centre of town but just a few mins taxi ride away from everything. For the price the hotel was comfortable with a good hot breakfast included, and service was very good. We had interconnected rooms which made for a good family area.

Very Poor for a Holiday Inn

Rude staff on check in who were not helpful or seemed interested in the guests. The place was a rip off. 7 Euro for parking when you can park the other side of the street for free. It isn't even in a main part of Bratislava. Room was dated for the price as the bathroom was in need of repair and the AC was very loud at times. 15 Euros for breakfast is a complete joke as well. This is a hotel who is making extra money from guests for services that should be included. Added on top of this Holiday Inn is so far behind the quality of other hotels within the brand and has ruder service. i won't be staying again.

Очень плохой отель. Все старое. В номере грязно и все в пятнах. Запах старости и сырости. Купил этот отель так как повелся на название. Там нет четырёх звёзд - максимум 2! Цена ему 40 евро.

Housekeeping is definitely not a strong asset of this property. Room was not cleaned on our second day of our stay and maid was obviously in the room because she put in more coffee and tea. Front Desk and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly.
