Huge open spaces, great for a large family!

Hot tub had the best views, place was clean and comfortable! Dishwasher did not work, needs repair.

Unannounced guests

The property location, view and overall atmosphere was fabulous. The issue we had was we had not one but two unannounced guests randomly stopping by the property. The 2nd night of our stay we were in the house and heard the garage door open. Keep in mind this is 915 at night! My husband went to the garage and asked if he could help the person and they claimed they were the owners son who was dropping off a vehicle. We double checked our emails and text messages to see if we had received a notification from the owner or the management company - nothing. We called the management company and they confirmed it was the owners son but we were very uncomfortable staying in the house knowing random people may show up. Two days later, we were sitting on the porch enjoying the view and another random car came driving up the driveway. It was the management company! He said their paperwork indicated no one was renting the house and someone was supposed to check in the next day. After a short conversation he was able to make sure the cleaning crew didn't show up. Again, the property was very nice. Absolutely beautiful view and location. The property needs a few updates but nothing major. We just didn't appreciate the fact that we rented the property for rest, relaxation and privacy and had random people showing up.

Great location

What a great place. There wasn’t any dishwasher detergent, condiments or extra garbage bags. But overall a GREAT place

Excellent location, love the scenery

Such a gorgeous property. The views from the deck and hot tub are excellent. We loved exploring hiking trails in the morning, hitting main street in breckenridge for happy hour and then cooking dinner and chilling the hot tub at night. Close to town, close to mountains, but easy to chill at home too.

Nice big house, great location

We stayed for a week in September and had a wonderful time. I liked that the house was close to downtown Breckenridge, just a mile or so up the road. The house had plenty of room for everyone and felt very comfortable. The hot tub was nice, although we did notice that wasps were using the structure for a nest when we first arrived. I called Vacasa and had it removed the next day with no further problems. The house is a bit outdated in some areas, and could use a little upgrade. For example, two exterior door handles actually fell off when we first used them. My kids really enjoyed the pool table, although it did feel a bit removed from the rest of the house since you must traverse through the garage to get there. Additionally, I would've liked the house to have been a little cleaner, dusty in some areas, and the fact that the previous renter's garbage was left behind in the garage was a turnoff. Despite these minor drawbacks I thought that overall the house was great for our purpose and glad we stayed there.

Great private location, but still close to town

Very nice house with all necessary amenities. We really enjoyed our stay! Had issue with some bees/wasps so hopefully an exterminator can fix the issue without too much trouble.

Awesome Views/location

This house was great but for a few minor deficiencies. It’s spacious and both decks have great views. 20 min walk to town.

Perfect for family stay!

We loved our stay in this large, family friendly log home about a 5 min drive from central Breck. The bedrooms are large and spread out for privacy, with comfy beds, plenty of towels, and very clean baths. The living areas are large enough to gather everyone together, but the separate downstairs game room and family room are great to allow for some smaller group separation (i.e. teens and adults). I was amazed to see the very well maintained appliances and TVs from the late 80s or 90s? The Gen Z'ers were like, "Why are the TVs so big?" Haha! but everything worked very well and the home was very clean and exceptionally maintained. Our only criticism was that the road/driveway are not plowed, so even with 4WD it's a slippery slog up and down.

Incredible Home!

From the moment we drove up to this cabin in the woods, we knew it would be a magical weekend. The surroundings are private, yet close to town. The cabin itself has plenty of room for humans and dogs to spread out and be comfortable. The hot tub with the view of the mountains was truly the most magical part of the weekend. We spent almost 9 hours in there and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain getaway in paradise!

Beautiful warm interesting log home

thank you so much for sharing your home! We LOVED the location up from Breckenridge, excellent moderately difficult walk to and from town (altitude/hill) and there is a creek that runs part of the route, shallow and clear and good fun and a nice cool break for our little fur bee bee :) The home is beautiful, really interesting architecture (art in and of itself), extremely well appointed, very comfortable and ample furniture, very secluded due to blending in and complementing the natural setting, substantial forest, INCREDIBLE and mainly unobstructed breathtaking views of the mountains and peaks, very compatible with finding mindfulness, much needed respite. All basics were provided, everything worked great, hot tub was EXCELLENT at night :) with a TON of stars....WOW...just love love loved this home!!

Great place and location

Very nice place close to town, parking isn't ideal if you drive a larger SUV - getting turned around to head back down the hill took some time, but overall great place to stay. There are stairs so if you have little ones, you'll want baby gates - we purchased some at a nearby walmart.
