Our stay was absolutely incredible! Communication was seamless, with quick responses and great recommendations from Bob and Monique that made our trip even better.The home was spotlessly clean, well-stocked with supplies, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Even in the winter, the views were breathtaking, and we loved cozying up by the fire pits, enjoying the peacefulness of the lake.The hospitality was top-notch, and we felt so well taken care of. We absolutely loved our stay at Clearwater Shores on Smith Lake. The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious for our large family. The views were amazing and the extra deck by the lake was so nice to sit and relax by the water. Our kids had the best time playing in game-room and fishing and swimming by the dock. The house is lovely, and the owners have certainly put a lot of thought into making sure everything you might need while there is available. Both the owner and caretaker reached out prior to our arrival to welcome us and to reinforce that if we needed anything we just needed to let them know. The caretaker responded to my texts very promptly. We had a wonderful family vacation at Clearwater Shores.

This home was warm, welcoming and wonderful! We especially enjoyed the view and the fire pit! And the owners were so kind in making this a dog-friendly home. We enjoyed bringing our four-legged family members with us! The owners/caretaker thought of everything and were so communicative. There was a slight chance of bad weather and they went above and beyond offering extra amenities to keep us comfortable! You can’t go wrong with this location!

Clearwater Shores was a great house for our families. The accommodations were perfect. All of the bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Fabulous updated kitchen. Robert, the owner made sure we had everything we needed at the house. He checked in with us a couple times during our stay to make sure everything was as promised. The property manager Monique, was fabulous. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and did anything she could to make sure our stay was enjoyable as possible. We would definitely consider staying at Clear Water Shores again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Three couples stayed and we all had comfortable KING beds with amazing views. We were able to bring our dogs and had plenty of space for everyone to enjoy both indoors and outdoors. The porch, fire pit, and lovely cabana were highlights. The kitchen was well stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed the game room! The furniture was so nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean!!! The hosts were so accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend this property!

As we ventured for our 2023 Fall Jeep trip, we found a gem on shores of Lewis Smith Lake in Bemen, AL. The property is stunning and has every amenity you need for little piece of paradise. Beautiful scenary, immaculate condition, upgraded to the latest and greatest interior and exterior designs. Super clean and super fun! Very close to Stoney Lonesome Offroad park. However, what made this destination special were the owners, the Ekman's and the property manage Monique. The nicest most accommodating hosts we have ever worked with in the 18 years we have been booking through VRBO.

Clearwater Shores is a beautiful home and property that provided our family and friends a place to make lifelong memories. The house is beautifully furnished and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. There were plenty of games for the kids to play and the arcade was a blast! The views are absolutely incredible from sunrise to sunset. The owners are friendly and were accommodating from the moment we booked the property. They answered any questions and gave recommendations to make our trip even more pleasant. My family and I are frequent visitors to Smith Lake and have stayed in over 12 different homes via VRBO. Clearwater Shores is now our favorite as it has a great location in deep water and is wonderfully appointed; with everything from beach towels, to charcoal, to portable speakers. The game room (pool table, air hockey, Golden Tee, Galaga & Ms. Pac Man) was fun for everyone from the teenagers to the 50 year old kids. Bob and Karen are the greatest hosts on Smith Lake. Southern hospitality is their goal and they have more than achieved it.

What a fabulous lake house! The house is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. Three bedrooms upstairs, master on the main level, and another bedroom in the lower level is a great layout. We had such a great time with the game room. There was so much to do between the arcades, air hockey, pool table, and cornhole. And of course, jumping and swimming off the dock. It was great having the dock to tie up the boat we rented. Our kids did hours and hours of tubing. Smith Lake water is clean and beautiful. We stayed five nights in June, but I think next time we will stay seven. We had such a great time! Looking forward to coming back next summer!!

Our visit to Smith Lake did not disappoint. The house and landscaping were immaculate. Also, our family loved all of the places to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The boat dock was accommodating and perfect for our boat. It was nice to be able to leave it under a roof protected. The owners were so kind and responded immediately. The house was so nice with lots of extras to make our trip more comfortable. We will definitely return again and hope to make it an annual trip. Thank you!

This was our first time to visit Smith Lake. Our family had a great time at Clearwater shores for our annual get together! We stayed during the 4th of July, and were 10 minute boat rides to two different firework shows. The property was very nice, with great views of the lake. The rooms are large and you will appreciate the space. We have smaller kids and they loved the game room, along with a safe driveway in the front of the home to ride their bikes back and forth. Bob was very accommodating and made us feel welcome from when we first booked. You can really tell the Ekman’s take pride in their home. We hope to be back soon!

The house hosted 6 adult and 4 kids perfectly. For the kids: there is a game room, grass area to play on, and large deck to fish and swim off of. For the adults: game room, mini bar, comfortable living and eating space, multiple decks to relax, 2 firepit areas, and large lakeside deck with coach, bar top table and lounge chairs. We also brought our boat, which was accommodated at the dock on the property. Be prepared for a stair climb as the property is located perfectly on a hillside. We had such a great time there, that the 3 days flew by too fast. BUT the best part of the property was the owner and caretaker giving full attentions and communication on anything we needed and even suggested local activities in the area. Beware of the steep and narrow Drive way and make sure to not bring a boat trailer down the road. Leave it by the mailboxes if you do not want to rent a spot at marina

Absolutely amazing! The home is beautiful and functional. The linens are soft, the furniture is comfy, and there is a place for everyone. Whether you want to sit quietly by yourself, or visit with a large group, this property has multiple areas to do just that! The hosts are incredibly responsive, and interactive making sure our questions were answered and needs were met! We have traveled BnB's for many years, and this one by far stood out for these reasons. We spent a beautiful week in comfort, surrounded by breathtaking scenery in every direction. In addition there were places nearby that were adventurous and picturesque ❤️ Not only are our minds and bodies rested, but they are also overflowing with great memories spent together, fishing, playing games, cooking, sightseeing, and antiquing! As an artist, I will be coming back next time with my paints and easel to capture the "magic" we felt here!

The house is AMAZING! Robert was very eager to answer ANY questions we had, before arrival. The pictures of this house DO NOT do it justice! The whole property is breathtaking. It was very private. There was plenty of room for my wife, me, and my 5 kids. There was enough room where we weren’t tripping over each other. We all had our own spaces. Even though it was cold weather, we still enjoyed our time, inside the house. The kids (and I, hehe) loved the arcade games, pool table, and air hockey. It gave me a chance to teach the kiddos how to play pool. There’s SO much to do outside, as well. My girls and I fished off the dock. There’s numerous places outside to enjoy time together! All you need to bring is the food! The house had EVERYTHING and then some! We had an early Christmas dinner, one night. The dinner table was perfect for my big family. The next night, I made use of the Pellet Grill and grilled out. There’s also a VERY nice fire pit where we built a nice fire and made s’mores! I could go on and on about the property! We can not wait to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the lake more! The view from the master bedroom is AMAZING to wake up to! Robert is an amazing host! Do NOT hesitate to book Clearwater Shores!!

Beautiful home, with multi level dock. Manicured grounds with 2 BBQ's and firepits, comfortable furniture inside and out, with many sitting areas. Well stocked with toiletries, paper products, and very well stocked kitchen. Nothing to do but relax!
