"Wir haben eine tolle Woche mit unserem Kater hier verbracht. Das Haus steht direkt am Deich und am Ende einer Sackgasse und ist somit ruhig gelegen. Hin und wieder laufen Schafe am Deich entlang oder die lustigen Hühner der Gast-Familie büchsen aus kommen und zu Besuch : —) ich fands lustig. Direkt hinter den Deich fließt die Oste und lädt zum Kanufahren oder Angeln ein. Auch der Vörder See istvein tolles Ausflugsziel. "Sehr geräumige Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage. Es fehlt an nichts , die Küche bietet alles, was man an Ausstattung benötigt (vom Eierkocher bis zur Saftpresse ist alles vorhanden). Der Vermieter wohnt gleich gegenüber und war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns sogar Holz vorbeigebracht, dass wir den gemütlichen Kachelofen im Wohnzimmer anheizen konnten. Für jeden Gast war ein flauschiges Handtuchset vorhanden. Als Willkommensgruß standen frische und lokale Äpfel und eine Flasche...

"Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen von der sehr netten Vermieterin. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut - nah an Stade und Jork, auch Buxtehude ist schnell zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Eine Verdunklung in den Schlafräumen wäre gut - es ist doch sehr hell, wenn im Sommer früh die Sonne aufgeht. "

Der einziger Kritikpunkt betrifft die undichte Spülmaschine, die aber wohl alsbald ersetzt wird. Von bzw zur Wohnung kommt man (falls keine Fahrräder zu Verfügung stehen) praktischerweise nur per KFZ, ab Stade bietet sich der ÖPNV an. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswerte Wohnung in ruhiger Umgebung des "Alten Lands". "

"Upon arrival Mr Fennell was awaiting us and showed us around in the house. He also gave a lot of interesting information and tips for the things we wanted to do. The house was very comfortable and we also enjoyed very much the pleasant garden and the surroundings."
