"Bit out dated"

"When we arrived and checked in the staff member could NOT find our reservation even though I had given him my confirmation email and the number on the Hotel.com app. Whilst the staff member tried to sort this put they offered my husband and myself a free drink. Eventually we were able to get a room, however, when we got to our room we noticed how small this was, there was nowhere to hang out clothes, the only place to put our belongings was in one little drawer. We tried to charge mine and my husbands phones via the electric sockets with NO success, the lamp that was in our room DIDNT work and when touches the top part came away from the main stand. The TV, which was on the wall, WOULDNT switch on/off via the remote control, we had to lift the TV and use the electric switch which was tucked under the TV. When it was time to close the curtains if you were not careful the whole curtain would move to the other side and as the single little drawer was placed right in front of the window it was extremely hard to pull back. There were hols in the wall. The shower was NOT very good the spray was very fine and DIDNT come straight down it would bounce off the wall, the hand held shower although sis work better the water would pour out of the connection between the pipe and head. The room itself was extremely small more of a single room than a double - if there was a single bed there you could fit a wardrobe in - there was only just enough room to walk around the bed "

"Room was a little dated however clean and tidy Bed was comfortable slept well peaceful nice view out of window 8th floor! Facilities great a safe tv fridge hairdryer iron kettle tea and coffee what more do you actually need? We enjoyed our experience didn't use bar or restaurant so cant comment. We did travel by train (just 10-15min walk to hotel down high st)but found out they have free parking which is very unusual for the london area so may consider a return with vehicle."

"The room was disgusting walls were covered in dirt, toilet handle was hanging out, beds were diabolical and there was no heating. I can say definitely 1 of the worse hotels ive actually stayed in. The only pro was the staff were amazing, very kind and friendly and tried to help where they could but shouldnt be like that. Also advertised they had a restaurant but that wasnt open. For the price its at i definitely wouldnt recommend. The beds were awful huge dips in the mattresses. And we wasnt in a room we booked."
