Beautiful stay

We red the feedback of the mattrasses from the former inhabitants. That is really very subjectiv. We slept as good as we never did bevor. Everything was absolutly perfect. No negativ comments at all. Thank you Gijs and Ying Yi.!

Truly relaxing break

The property is beautifully located on the edge of a small water way, with direct access Trek Gatern which is a nature reserve and very beautiful, full of bird life and water lilies in bloom. We took our Canadian canoe and this is a perfect area to explore-we even saw a beaver! There is a rowing boat available for use on site.The garden is thoughtfully laid for maximum privacy and relaxation.We received a very warm welcome from the hosts and had everything we needed in the property for our stay. Would recommend wholeheartedly, especially to those with a canoe or kayak. Many thanks.

We had a very enjoyable week staying De Roodborst! The location was relaxing and quiet as we enjoyed the views. Very nice to have access to a boat, so plenty of time rowing around the nearby lake and islands. The cabin had a nicely equipped kitchen as we like to cook our own meals. What fun to sit on the patio or canal deck sipping coffee, eating a snack, or just enjoying the beauty of the surroundings and many types of birds. If you enjoy quiet relaxation, this cabin is perfect, especially the late day sunsets sitting next to the canal. During your stay, make sure to give some treats to Specky the pig, who will enthusiastically grunt appreciation! Host Gijs and Ying Yi were very friendly and responded quickly before and during arrival to any questions. Highly recommend you consider a week stay at De Roodborst!

Perfekte Mischung von Stadt- und Landurlaub

Es war ein wirklich toller Urlaub im Ferienhaus von Gijs und Ying Yi. Die Lage in der Natur am Wasser ist einzigartig. Man kann mit dem Boot die Grachten und Kanäle der Umgebung erkunden oder sich einfach im Wasser erfrischen. Und wenn man die umliegenden Städte (Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam) sehen möchte, sind es nur wenige Minuten mit dem Rad oder Auto zum Bahnhof. Auch im Ferienhaus hat man alles was man braucht, vor allem auch seine Ruhe. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Entspannter Urlaub in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus war sehr schön, alles da, was man braucht, mit Ruderboot, direkt am Graben. Da kam sogar ein Jugendlicher und hat das Wasser vom Regen aus dem Boot gepumpt, plus SUPs und ein Kajak und eine Badestelle. Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein und einen schönen Blumenstrauß. Gijs, unser Vermieter, was sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Er hat uns eine App gezeigt, so konnten wir schöne Radtouren durch die Gegend vornehmen. 2,5 Kilometer nach Breukelen zum Einkaufen, Utrecht mit dem Rad ebenso gut zu erreichen. Und drumherum einige Schlösser zum anschauen. Specki, das Hausschwein, war sehr empfänglich für Brotreste und Obst. Sehr lustig. Wir haben uns die Woche sehr wohl gefühlt. Danke.

Perfekt, gemütlich, hell, idyllisch

Wir haben eine tolle Urlaubswoche im Ferienhaus "Roodborstje" verbracht. Unglaublich nette Vermieter, die das gesamte Gelände fantastisch aufgeteilt und eingerichtet haben. Im Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden, was im Urlaub benötigt wird. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu erleben (Wsssersport, auch direkt vor der Tür mit SUPs, Kanu, Ruderboot, Fahrradtouren auf herrlichen Wegen, Ausflüge nach Amsterdam, Utrecht u.v.m.). Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Alles TOP! Huisje brandschoon en gezellig ingericht. Zeer attent was de welkomstgroet door Familie Randeraad in het huisje. Royaal tuinmeubilair .Bijzonder vond ik de prachtige bloembakken voor en achter het huisje. Heb ze in de tijd dat ik er verbleef graag verzorgd! Ik heb er echt genoten!

Ruhe und Erholung

Wir haben die Tage in dem kleinen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus de Roodborst genossen. Die absolut ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur, die Möglichkeit die Vögel zu beobachten , aber auch mit dem Rad die Gegend zu erkunden oder mit dem Auto oder dem Zug schnell in die interessanten Städte der Umgebung fahren zu können, macht diese Fewo so attraktiv. Gijs und seine Frau haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und waren jederzeit bereit uns bei Fragen weiterzuhelfen und Tips zu geben. Wir wären so gerne mit dem Kanu gefahren , aber das Wetter war leider nicht gut. Danke für die Zeit im Rootborst.

Traumhaft!

Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen. Das Häuschen ist modern und schön eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Das absolute Highlight für uns waren die Schafe und das Schweinchen, die gefüttert werden durften und die Enten, die immer Mal in den Garten kamen.

Eine wunderbare Woche!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Gijs und Ying Yi empfangen. Besonders aufmerksam fanden wir den Blumenstrauß, die Flasche Wein und die Karte auf dem Esstisch - so wurden wir noch nie begrüßt! Das Ferienhaus hat alles, was man braucht, sogar britisches Fernsehen für Schlechtwettertage! Besonders schön fanden wir die Aussicht von der Terasse auf den Kanal und die weite Landschaft. Auch die Fahrt mit dem Kajak auf dem See war toll! Und dann noch die Schafe mit ihren Lämmchen, die wir auch von der Terrasse aus beobachten konnten - so niedlich! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Ruhe, Natur, Sport und bei Bedarf Kultur

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage, nette Vermieter die bei Bedarf helfen und sich ansonsten zurückhalten. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren und nach Amsterdam geht es bequem mit den Zug. Ruhe, Natur, Wasser, Radfahren, bei Bedarf Kultur und Stadtleben (Utrecht ist auch sehr zu empfehlen)… für uns ein idealer Urlaubsort!
