"The Getaway is just as cute as it looks in the pictures, and all the little extras--snacks, ear plugs, hair ties--they really thought of everything! Check in was super easy, the bed is comfy, and the kitchen had everything I could have wanted. The neighborhood was super quiet! All in all, a lovely little spot. Would totally recommend!"

"This is one of our favorite places to stay anywhere. I stay there even when I am not going to be in Norman. Great location, staff, food, and always clean. I had an issue one stay and the staff answered middle of the night and resolved the issue immediately and it wasn't even a huge deal. Romantic weekend must and I recommend it to everyone. In fact this stay was for my daughter and her partner. They loved it and are making it a regular place. Old reputation left with the old owner this is the perfect hidden gem. "

"Room was old and dated. Slightly dirty. Property was messy and lots of things were closed down when we went there. They shut the water off without telling any one. Staff seemed stressed. "

"Kitchen was adequate…just took a while to figure out what was available. Pots and pans clustered tightly in one cabinet. A couple had food residue. Appliances were very acceptable.Kitchen towels were not present…used a bathroom hand towel. Lots of activities for all age groups. Really enjoyed the shuffleboard. Enjoyed the fire pit, outdoor swings, sand volleyball. Plenty of bedroom space. Bathrooms were comfortable. Great space for family gatherings. "

"We stayed here for a family get together and we all enjoyed the outside patio area- plenty of space for everyone and more! Its a short walk to the lake and the sand is so soft. The kids and adults all had a great time at the beach. The only thing we rated less than 4 stars is the beds, the bed in the master br in the cabin was a little uncomfortable to get a good night sleep. But overall, it was a great time!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and very nicely decorated. Beds were comfy. Shower was great. We used the firepit and ping pong table. A great time was had by all!! Besides a tiny snafu at check in which was resolved immediately by the host everything was terrific!! I appreciated their quick response."
