"Hotel is a little dated, but they are doing some renovations (Fall 2026) that will probably help. Our room was clean and had a nice view of the park next to the soo locks. The location of the hotel is great, with many restaurants and bars nearby you can walk to. The staff was friendly but were not terribly engaging (We asked about restaurants in the area and their response was ‘they are all okay.’)."

"The hotel was great. comfortable and clean. It did have a few minor flaws on the flooring and the out side siding. there is a big bump in the entry way off the road. If those were fixed it would have been excellant."

"We had 4 adults and 4 children staying for three nights. The home was clean and beautiful! There was plenty of wood provided for the fireplace, and they even had crockpot liners! The host thought way ahead of things that you might need during your stay. There was a beautiful view of the lake and so much space for our full family. We definitely will come back here again if we need a stay in Brimley!"

"The BEST place we’ve ever stayed!! Every room was spotless and so cozy! There was so much space for our family and so many things for kids to do. From board games, to the garage game room, to outside exploring. You won’t ever get bored here. Also, a quiet nice area that if you wanted to just relax the whole time, it’s perfect for that as well. The beach across the road is quiet, beautiful, sandy and perfect to swim or relax. The house was stocked with all the dishes you could need, as well as a highchair and a pack n play if you have small kids. Love that town is close enough if you need it but far enough away that you feel in the country. Plus, the drive to Brimley is beautiful!!! So much to explore. We can’t wait to go back!!!"
