"Parking was spacious and secure. The rooms were updated and very clean. Very close to downtown attractions. Highly recommend The Last Resort!"
Beautiful log cabin in the woods with a hot tub. 5 min walk to a quiet beach.

"We recently stayed for six wonderful days at this property. The house was amazing! The hosts were very promt in replying to inquires and the property showed that they care about the renters' experience. The hosts obviously take pride in their property. The house was spotlessly clean and there was tons of parking space. The property is not on the Lake Superior shore and therefore there is some question as to who owns the beach. There is a public access a very short walk from the house but we were told by the owner of a beachfront residence that it was not a public beach and that we could not sit on their sand. He told us to go further down the beach where there is a spit of sand jutting into the lake. I don't know the law on this so we just moved to the spit and had a great time on a beautiful beach. We would definately go back."

"The bed was surprisingly comfy and the pillows were not overstuffed like most hotels. The shower was very nice, though it took a bit for the hot water. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurants or pool as this was just a quick spot to spend the night during a busy weekend UP trip. Will make sure to stay here the next time I'm in the area."

"If you are looking for a real cabin experience this is for you! The main Cabin Wigwam had plenty of room for all my grandchildren to sleep with nice open space. The Rainbow and Papoose cabins so nice! The kitchen was well stocked for my cooking needs and was so happy to have provided paper plates and utensils. The highlight was the beautiful property! Surrounded with woods with pathways to the lake. So much fun swimming in the lake. Beautiful beach for long walks and bonfires. This is a trip my family will remembered forever. Thanks for sharing your amazing home. Lisa Smith"
