Love how its few steps away from the beautiful Lake Superior. Its so relaxing waking up to the sound of waves in the morning while sipping your coffee. Its 2 miles away from Gooseberry falls and very close to all trails that lead you to appreciate the beauty of the North. We will come back again !!!!!"

"This cabin was perfect for our stay, close to Gooseberry Falls and not too far from restaurants and Two Harbors. The cabin was well equipped with everything you need for cooking. Spacious, and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, with that said, the smaller bedroom with the bunk beds leave much to be desired. The beds themselves were very thin mattresses, with no mattress pad, ONLY a this polyester bed cover. When we arrived only two of the beds were made. The smaller room with the bunks beds...

"My husband and I came up to Minnesota to go birding at Sax Zim Bog, and we found this great cottage. It was the perfect place! It was very close to Sax Zim Bog, and it was close to the gas station and Wilbert Cafe in town. It was a great size, newly designed, nice appliances to cook our own meals, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a large shower. "Our second Christmas at this cabin! We brought our tree, lights, presents, and enough food to last us several days. Because there was no snow and we found slushy ice on Gegoka, we drove to nearby hiking trails—all lovely. The kitchen is well-provisioned with spices, herbs, pots and pans and the bookshelves are loaded with terrific wildlife resource books. This cabin has one of the best wood stoves we’ve experienced. Despite gloomy, rainy days, we had a good stay!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this relaxing retreat! We loved the lake view and all the amenities (paddle boards, comic book collection, sauna, gas grill, spacious kitchen, and large farm table for gathering to playing cards). Being a group that loves to cook together in the kitchen, the selection of kettles was a tad limited and a few 3 - 4 qt pots would be nice :). We would definitely recommend this place to others who might enjoy a quite scenic lake stay in Northern MN."

"Not sure where to start, Cold with no heat You plugged anything in and you will blow a hard to find fuse that we had to go back to Duluth to find, water was un drinkable found out the hard way, the bath house was un heated aswell and the hot water lasted for about 2 minutes. Needless to say it was for the most part Unhabitable!"
