"Lavialle is a small hamlet at the head of of a gorgeous wooded valley just a few kilometres out of Blesle, one of "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France". The cottage is delightful and suited my wife and I perfectly. Paul and Genevieve are lovely friendly hosts and they have organised delightful circular walks from the cottage from easy (3k for us) to hard and very hard. We so enjoyed BBQ's in the front courtyard in the evening's shade. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. This...

"A lovely place we have returned to, great food and comfortable. Check in time however was wrong, for once we got to our hotel early and the owner had a note on the door asking guests to return at 5.30 so 2 hours to wait in a very small village rather than rest and refresh. Room lovely but a solid rather than see through door to the toilet would stop the light flooding the room if your partner goes to the loo."

"This lovely village house offered plenty of room for at least 4 people…we were two. Off street parking was good. There was no internet, but we managed with phone tethering. We were welcomed and checked out by the hosts daughter. We did not encounter any difficulties so need need to contact the host. A quiet rural environment."
