First time to Straddie & loved this location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location and very family friendly accommodation. It felt like a home away from home. Beautiful kitchen, balcony and views. We were relaxed the whole time and were very impressed with this property. Beautifully decorated and cared for. Will be back next time we visit the island.

Short Stay

The view was great. Happy with the location and the upstairs downstairs living layout. There is a few things that need attention: The bathtub was dirty The kitchen cupboard had an ant infestation. All our open food was stored in the fridge The floors were dirty on arrival as if they were not vacuumed and mopped The surveys peg at the front door is a trip hazard. My son stubbed his toe and split it open on arrival. Needs to be removed or smashed into the ground. I can’t recall if there was detail of the house being multi story. This should be detailed incase parents require a baby gate to stop stair falling issues.

Feedback

Was not the cleanest, time for a deep clean. BBQ was not cleaned well, only half the burner was igniting and overall not getting to full flame. Oven was not clean, very greasy, Induction cooktop not getting and keeping top temperature, rangehood not vented to exterior. Pillows rancid and need replacing. Needs some type of heating for winter stays. Great location and view overall good stay, would bring own BBQ and gas cooker if staying again.

The ocean views are stunning and the property itself was lovely, clean and well equipped with everything from a new kitchen to a rice cooker and slow cooker. The house is spacious and you can see the ocean from both the upstairs and downstairs decks. The beach, pub and grocery store were within a short walking distance. I will definitely be returning!
