Really easy check in - received a text and then wandered up to check in. The room was spacious with a great balcony. There was a spa bath, but due to the age, we weren’t allowed to use it which was a bummer. The full sized fridge, decent stove and oven were handy. The location was great - yes, it’s on a hill - going to the city was easy walking downhill, coming back up wasn’t as easy - but still close - Less than 1km. Bed was comfy, lounge was nice, tv was a good size. The wifi was ok, but couldn’t stream to the tv unless hotspotting from my phone which was a drag. I spoke to the owner(?) and she explained the cost to have wifi connection strong enough to stream was prohibitive which I completely understand. Overall, the property is older, and hopefully it’ll slowly get upgraded, but the stay was comfortable and we would happily stay again

Property was suitable for habitation, but the bathroom in particular wasn't cleaned well and still had hair and soap scum in the environment. Water pressure/hot water availability was limited. Bedding was clean and suitable, kitchen facilities were also clean and suitable, but cleaning materials were lacking/dirty (wipes, etc). Great location, good security, apartment aged but still tidy. Some holes and dints that could be repaired in walls. Nice spacious balcony, surprisingly private space. Laundry services were enjoyably quiet. Staff incredibly helpful with late Check In support.

The staff were lovely, extremely helpful with information and very accommodating. The rooms however were dirty - food stains down cupboard doors, inside drawers dirty, cutlery draw lined with toilet paper. Would call it a very poor clean between bookings.

The glass doors where dirty the shower was dirty carpet and lounge chairs dirty and stained. We had to go and buy detol wipes and Glen20 from IGA we where to scared to touch any surface We had to clean down the kitchen benches and shower. There was a build up of dust on furniture. The toilet seat was loose and had marks on it. The curtains in bedroom stunk and blinds in lounge where dirty. For the money we paid we are very disappointed it was our honeymoon and we where looking forward to the break. Outside of building we counted 4 syringes on the ground and in the gutter. We would not recommend this property to anyone. Jennifer

POSITIVES : * location - Spring Hill is close to the City Central; * the apartment was spacious w all amenities incl own laundry (w washer n drier ) ; * balcony w table and chairs , and a clothes drying rack ; * communication was good and the manager was friendly and helpful ( accessible by mobile ) ; * free secure parking NEGATIVES : * the balcony floor had not been cleaned and i unknowingly then walked the dirt back into the apartment.There were many old cigarette butts left there ; * there was frequently cigarette smell wafting through the windows and hall way; * there is no ramp access at the building's entrance so difficult for managing heavy suitcase, or for ppl w mobility issues and prams. * there are no blackout curtains in the bedroom so have an eye mask handy ; * in a front facing apartment the ( twice a day ) peak hour traffic noise on a main road was significant .

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The balcony was lovely to sit outside with a coffee even though it was raining. Close walk to all facilities and Queen Street Mall, and the museum was walking distance! Would highly recommend the Sedgebrook apartments and will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Brisbane

Na Xue the manager is really friendly and very accommodating. She went out of her way to check us in early, get us a 2nd key for the apartment and a plug for the bath. Apartments are spacious and in a great location. Would definitely stay again!
