    A true beach holiday.
    Kooringal, meaning "by the water", is located on the southern tip of Moreton Island and offers safe anchorage in Days Gutter for boaties.
    Watch the Sun Set over beautiful Moreton Bay.
    Base yourself at the Humpy and experience Moreton Island's attractions:
    - swim in the freshwater of the Blue Lagoon;
    - snorkel around the Tangalooma Wrecks;
    - enjoy Honeymoon Bay as well as the Champagne Rocks.
    - Cape Moreton Lighthouse,
    - Little and Big Sandhills,
    - Surf fishing is first class,
    - Most importantly, spend some quality time with your kids.

Moreton Island was awesome. House was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. BBQ was perfect for cooking dinner and the kids loved the marshmallows cooked in the fire pit.

Great place to stay at Kooringal

The place is great for a big family. Lots of space for kids to play around. It is close enough to the Gutter Bar to walk and it's a short drive to the oyster farm. The owner of the place is very nice and accommodating.

Great house in a beautiful location

Our trip was amazing and was great to have a really nice home base to come home to each night, sitting by the large fireplace each night was awesome. The house had a real beach side feel and was cozy we felt like it was like being at home, the neighbours are great and very friendly. We would definitely do a return trip the house was perfect for us

We had a great time at Umptys. One member of our group arrived a day early, the host Sean was very accomodating and extended our booking with no issue, check in and out was easy, the house was big enough to accommodate us all and the location was perfect, close to the beach, gutter bar ans 4WD tracks, we would definitely book again

Great location, away from the crowds further north. Lovely large kitchen, well appointed and functional. Wonderful dining area on the covered deck. All of the sleeping options were clean and tidy. The wall fans in the main house bedrooms were fantastic. Would certainly consider staying there again.

Awesome place to stay! The house was clean and tidy, and equipt with everything we needed. We loved the set-up of the house. Lovely quiet part of the island with lovely locals. Mosquito coils a must at that end of the Island.. Sean was helpful and great to communicate with prior to our stay. We had a great time staying at Umpys Humpy. We will definitely be booking again! Great Fisherman’s House.

Good for adults not sure the environs would be good for kids. Midges and some rubbish in grounds would be a deterrent
