「First time I've ever stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and it was grand. The weird thing is that there were no towels provided and no tv in the room, kitchen utensils weren't that clean but I brought my own so not an issue. The bed was above average for comfort and very clean. Parking is a nightmare and up a very steep hill, keep this in mind. 「The property is conveniently located for Southmead Hospital, less than 10 mins walk. Generally clean. The front door lock is tricky and could do with being replaced. Kitchen is small but functional, oven and fridge could do with good clean. Cloakroom and washing machine, had a leak could not be used, handyman time keeping not great. Heating on all the time, day and night. Plant room quite noisy. Host good at responding to messages. 」

「We were visiting Bristol and Bath for the weekend and this place was the perfect base for us to do so. Comms were good and access to the property was straightforward. The house had everything we needed for a cosy and comfortable stay and everything we used was in good working order (oven/hob, wifi, tv, shower). Good value for money so we would gladly return if we're back in the area. 」

My only issue was the ultra tiny bathroom and the fact that there are no windows that open or even windows to look out of. Which seems odd. "Hotel is quite new in comparison with other International brand hotels in that area. Comfortable bed, room nice and clean. Within walking distance to CBD and tourist area. However, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night around 1:30am and we learned the next day that it’s a fire drill. That’s totally ridiculous to me. I’ve travelled around the world in the past 50 yrs and never came across any hotel like this. The fire alarm woke all hotel guests without prior notice nor explanation on site. Guests including myself needed to run around to check out what’s happening. Hope they never ever do this again. We’re extremely tired after a whole day’s travelling and desperately needed a good night’s sleep. "
