「Claire and Chris our hosts were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. A great welcome after our 6 hour drive! The car pass was all ready for us to park our car, our room was ready too. On arrival we were offered tea and coffee and a great choice of chocolate bars! Perfect! Breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of choice hot and cold. The views from the guest house are beautiful. There are lots of restaurants nearby within walking distance. Nothing was too much trouble....

「Despite the complex instructions to find the cottage, it was fairly easy. (A quick look beforehand on Google Street View helped!) Found it best to park the car first in the Freshwater car park as you exit the harbour up the hill. This is a long stay car park costing approx. (August 2024) £10 for 24hrs. It's worth buying a permit for the week as it is valid in other car parks in the whole of Torbay too for when you trip out. It's an easy flat walk from here (and you may get a glimpse of seals...
