"The room was lovely, very clean and well cared for. The building itself was full of character, you could feel the ages past in the hallway and on the stairs. Both breakfasts and dinners were delicious - a good chef there. And the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always a friendly 'hello' and a smile "

"Lovely hotel and so handy for the station opposite. I had a nice quiet room and I was delighted to have a bath as well as a shower. The decor was slightly dated but none the worse for that and I had everything I needed including plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed.. The staff were very pleasant and helpful"

We had a sea view room and it was just lovely to look out across and see the pier and all the ships sheltering from bad weather in the Bay. And the breakfast in the morning was just lovely to sit down and enjoy a good standard."

I booked on the evening of my stay short notice, upon arrival I checked in & was shown to my room … a gracious little room aptly named ‘ The shoe box’ so cute everything I needed as a solo traveler. Perfectly snug. Wonderful staff & w location. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"
