But to honor the name, furniture in the rooms needs to be updated and better maintained, and staff at the restaurants should be better trained and have more experience (though Ariana was very nice and attentive). Staff at reception were kind and helpful). Overall, a good choice if you want to spend a few days in the beautiful Lago di Garda."

"I haven't stayed in this hotel since 2012 and I must say its an incredible property in the perfect setting. However, on the first night we witnessed the restaurant staff have an absolute meltdown, it was embarrassing for all involved. The GM apologised and after that day everything was reasonably normal, however, there was an issue, and we never went back in the evenings. The main restaurant (Oseleta) on the other hand was truly exceptional, which is why it now has a Michelin star... The food...

"We chose the hotel because of the lovely reviews and we weren’t disappointed. It was a short walk to Verona Porta Nuova (Train Station) and the historic town centre. That made it ideal for our days out to Lake Garda and Venice. Also lots of restaurants nearby. The staff at the hotel were lovely, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of options. The hotel was very clean and the room service was great. Would highly recommend if visiting Verona."
