Great couples getaway

Beautiful home and location close to lake. Great for 4 couples each with own room and bathroom. Many memories made and laughs shared. Will definitely book here again.

Stay @ Sherwood Chateau

Very nice place. Easy check-in. Lot of beautiful scenery and can fit a lot of people. We had 10 of us and it didn't seem small by any means. Great location away form the rest of the town.

Nay Nay’s Girl Trip

I take my granddaughters somewhere each December as part of their Christmas. They had so much fun that they told me to book the same cabin for next year. It was a perfect layout for us and just beautiful and so clean. We loved it!

Wonderful time at a wonderful cabin

The place had a cozy feel mixed with a bunch of robin hood related decor. The location was near everything we wanted to visit. And overall setup was everything we could've asked for. Would definitely recommend!

Nice cabin

The cabin was clean and the appliances were like new and functioned well. Well designed cabin for the number of people it accommodates. The room with the bunk beds is a great place to sleep all of the kids separately to give the parents some peace and quiet at night.

My wife wants to stay

Beautiful house in a great location, the house has room for four couples and lots of kids, and a table large enough to eat dinner as a family! The boat ramp is very close and the lake is amazing, we will be coming back.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is beautiful. From the kitchen to the kids' bunk room, everything was lovely. The fire pit outside as well as the kids' ninja/ rope equipment was a nice touch. One comment I do have is that the mattresses are SO very hard, especially the master. It would've been nice to have a softer mattress, but I understand that people like different firmness. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Perfect Getaway for my Kids and Grandkids

Sherwood Chateau is the perfect Home and Location for our New Year's Eve getaway for our Daughters, Son-in-Laws and 4 grandchildren (ages 1-5). Everything was perfect and we cooked in other than one lunch away. The fire-pit and adirondake chairs was where we spent a ton of time in the evenings and the kids loved it. The hiking trails are convenient and getting into town to buy provisions couldn't have been more simple. We will be back

There were 15 adults and one infant. Access to Walmart and restaurants is nearby. We will definitely visit again! Thank you for the warm stay

Great property-fabulous outdoor area

Loved this property! It was the perfect amount of space for our two families with 5 kids total. Kids loved the bunk beds, shuffleboard, and Ms. Pac-Man. Sadly tgere was a burn ban and we couldn’t use the amazing fire pit, but with the outdoor fireplace and tv, we were good. Only complaint would be that the hot tub might’ve been chemically off a bit-it bubbled up tye first day and didn’t smell the best day two, but with plenty of other activities and outdoor games, it wasn’t a huge issue.

The cabin was super cozy and exactly what you want from that sort of trip!! Close to town, all the amenities (including shuffleboard), spacious and comfy bedrooms, big bathrooms, washer/dryer on both floors, well stocked kitchen, hot tub on the back deck, tons of board games, and really soft couches!! Highly suggest the Sherwood Chateau !!!

Wonderful stay, lots of fun, great place for family and friends

This property is beautiful. The layout of the house worked well. Everyone couple had their own bedroom with attached bath. The only drawback was the up and down around the house. It wouldn't work well for unsteady seniors, kids or pets. There is lots of gravel to traverse. TVs were plentiful, but be sure and bring your log-ins for your favorite apps. It took us a few minutes to discover how to use them. The property has easy access from the main road, but directions to the actual property were a bit confusing. Again, we had a terrific time in a beautiful property. Very comfortable and the AC worked great!

Annual Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Accommodations were perfect for family of 10. Location was idea for seclusion and yet close for other activities. Housekeeping needed more attention. Prior personal hair essentials were in the shower as well as clothing at the hot tub. Paper trash and empty bottle was not removed from bedroom. Notification was emailed that the hot tub was not cleaned due to a water leak(understandable) and that housekeeping would return the next day to clean which never took place(Unacceptable). And further notification was never received. Rental was based on use of the hot tub (Disappointing)

The house is always perfect, warm and cozy and nestled in the middle of the forest. We are hoping to plan our yearly family reunion at the Sherwood as long as possible. The vacation, 3 days on the lake and time with our babes and grandbabes priceless. Thank you once again for beautiful memories!
