The cabin is situated near the top of the hill with great views from the deck and hot tub. It had everything we needed and provided a great home base for our stay. Would rent again!

Whaleshead means a lot to us as it was our first vacation as a couple nearly a decade ago. We were so excited to be back and this cabin was perfect. So quiet, beautiful view, hot tub was amazing, stocked with kitchen supplies for cooking and the wifi worked great! Definitely would recommend for a relaxing getaway. We'll definitely be returning!

My husband and I enjoyed our days there and will definitely return. I loved sitting in the hot tub watching the sun rise in the mornings while the fog drifted in and out of whaleshead beach.

The view, the hot tub, the short drive to access the beach, and the accommodations were all fantastic. One thing to note is that you won't watch the sunset from the hot tub, but you're in for a treat with such a lovely vista.

We had a wonderful time at Linda and cabin. Hosts were very communicative and the location is excellent. Even though it's in the Whalehead resort area (as some reviewers pointed out), the cabin itself is on a hill and has a ton of privacy. The view is beautiful and we had everything we needed - a very cozy and comfortable stay. We hope to be back!

The cottage is in a beautiful location with a wonderful hilltop view of the ocean. Very relaxing and basically quiet when the neighboring cottage tenants are not partying late into the night. Great location near plenty of beaches and trails.

Cottage was cozy, inviting, beautifully decorated. All amenities were there. Being in the hot tub with this ocean view is priceless. U20 is the best cabin here. I will vacation in this cabin each time I come to Oregon.

What a gorgeous place to stay. We were lucky to have incredible weather. This stretch of coastline is one of the most stunning land and sea scapes we have encountered. full moon making the ocean silvery and reflective, soaking in the hot tub under it, and taking in the peaceful sounds. This was a humble and luxurious experience at the same time. recommended for sure!

Hard time getting into the cabin, but after short call we got in. It’s a lovely small place just like we wanted. The view eating breakfast was amazing. But there are a couple of things the management should be aware of. The cleaning people are not cleaning the ceiling fans, dust was thick on blades and big chair next to sliding glass door has some kind of black looking mold on it and needs to be thrown out. We had such a great weekend. The cabin was small and cozy? And fully equipped to make basic meals. The location is great and the view was stunning. We only wished that the hot tub had been warmer. We had the temp turned all the way up, but the water was still like warm the next day. Maybe it needs some work? Other than that, we would go back again in a heartbeat.

The view is wonderful. We had a very relaxing time. The hot tub was clean and well cared for. The kitchen is NOT well stocked and the items in it are old and weathered by use, but the knives were sharp, so that’s good. We got by and were pleasantly surprised to have found a small cast iron pan that was relatively seasoned. I have been into a lot of vacation homes. This one was comfortable, and we all felt very safe. We didn’t want to leave. A person can walk to the nearby beach. However, the Highway must be crossed and the very steep walk back up the hill is not for novices. There is a full grocery/department store about 7 miles down the road with nearly anything you will need at reasonably low prices. If the hot tub gets low the outdoor spigot runs hot water-amazing! Fallow the map provided to find your cabin because the address is not fully recognized by map apps. It was a great trip, and we plan on another one soon.

I stayed here with my Husband for 2 nights about 2 weeks ago. We loved it! We didn't want to leave! The cabin is really nice, very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. The hot tub is fantastic. The hot tub is brand new and works great. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night under the moon and stars listening to the ocean waves below. The location is really great. Right in the middle of the Samuel H. Boardman scenic corridor which is a gorgeous stretch of coastline with several short hikes to amazingly beautiful beaches. The cabin is in the Whaleshead Resort, which is like a little neighborhood of cabins nestled into the hillside overlooking Whaleshead beach. This cabin is almost at the top of the hill overlooking the roof tops of most the other cabins and seemed like it probably has the best view of all the cabins. It's quite private and very quiet (except slight road noise during the day from the highway below). We bought fresh fish from a local fish market and grilled it on the BBQ on the deck. It was wonderful. We had a really great experience and would definitely stay here again.

It was an awesome stay with amazing views. Only problem is the the ad makes it look like a secluded cabin.its not its right in the middle of whales head. And the beds are not very comfy. Other than that super awsome
