Sonesta Select Philadelphia Airport

Doubletree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport

The Windsor Suites
4/10 Poor
"Windsor Suites boasts itself as a bougie hotel in Philadelphia. Let's find out.
First, garage parking costs guests $57. No self-park, no valet. $57. The hotel has 24 floors; rooftop lounge and outdoor pool, 24/7 indoor lounge with serve yourself coffee and continental snacks, and a gym. The rooftop lounge was locked (you pay extra for access), and the pool was closed. The elevators were TINY, couldn't fit more than 3 people with bags.
My room was on the 16th floor. I had a view of Sts Peter and Paul Basilica and the Central Public Library. But I am sus of the activities in this "luxury" hotel.
The edge of door to the room had significant damage; it looked to have been forced open from the outside, and with large scrapes from top to bottom. The broken door had not been repaired, with splinters and chipped paint coming off. The chaise was clearly "used" (a bit of Tide Wipes couldn't hurt.) The bed was ok, and the room was basic. But the live sansevieria plant in the room was nearly dead. I should have kept it, but I gave it water and propped it up instead.
On the 12th floor is the only ice machine and vending. The only restaurant/bar, an Irish style sit-down, had a good selection of reasonably priced food. Appetizers, Entrees, Salad/Sandwiches, all roughly $15-$25. I had a French Dip and fries with a Bloody Mary. It tasted okay, but I ended up with severe stomach pain later that I suspect was from the food.
I've stayed at cheaper hotels with better reviews. Thumbs down."

4211 Suites
8/10 Good
"The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were very courteous and got you fresh towels and toilet paper. Some of them did not know the area to tell you what was around to eat, but still very polite and quick getting you to your rooms and discharged from the facility. The full kitchen and laundry was a big plus. You could keep snacks hot tea and so on. I found the sofa bed to be cheap and uncomfortable. The mattress was barely a mattress. You need to get a better sofa bed. But over all I would go back again with friends or family."

Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia Center City
2/10 Terrible
"不满意"

Wyndham Philadelphia Historic District
6/10 Okay
"This is a convenient location with comfortable beds. But it clearly hasn't been updated in years and feels dated and dingy. Weird things kept happening to us -- we paid the hotel for parking but then the machine at the garage didn't recognize the validated ticket and tried to charge me to get out; at check-in we were told our first 2 bottles of water were included but when I asked later at the front desk where to get the water I was told it's in the room and sort-of accused of lying when I said there wasn't any water in our room when we arrived; the alarm clock in the room went off at 6am; the fitness center was hot as a sauna...
Just not a super wonderful hotel experience."
