"The house is off the beaten path but close to everything! It was sparkling clean! Very nicely decorated and homey. The bed linens were super soft. The hot tub was a joy after busy outings. There were enough plates, pots, etc. We had a great time. Thank you. (Prior to us arriving, the management company, not the property owner, were difficult to get in touch with. After we arrived, the owner was super responsive.)"

"Wonderful relaxing getaway home with so many special touches! We enjoyed coffee on the front porch watching the birds and catching up with each other. The beds, bedding and towels were excellent and added to the homey feel. We had a rainy day and enjoyed watching a movie and playing games. Kitchen well equipped, extra blankets, towels and pillows. The donut shop down the road was nice too, we highly recommend it. Great communication and everything was even better than described."

"We had a great time staying in this cabin. Kim came kayaking by and gave us the courage to give it a try. She was very kind in helping teach our kids how to row the kayaks and just checking in on us. We did some fishing, took a walk, and hung out on the porch watching the river. The fireflies at night are the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. My niece loved catching the frogs. Staying here feels like you’re at a family lake house."

"Lovely home & setting. Very peaceful. Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people....

"The house was very clean and comfortable, the new neighborhood was nice too. I recommend taking young children on a pirates of hilton head tour, it was fantastic, and the fenced in yard was perfect for our dog."

"Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather."

"This home was perfect for our family of 8 to celebrate our daughters graduation from GA Southern in Savannah- plenty of space for us all to be together or to find a quiet spot alone. Julie was very responsive and helpful- we had a toilet that was running and she had someone out to fix it in just a few hours. We will back in 2 years when she graduates with her masters!"

"Historic house which was really cool. But that also means old. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Neighborhood is turning over so lots of upgrading of homes nearby. Walking distance to coffee house and downtown. Really cool little town."
