Private, newly renovated lakefront cottage on 10+ acres of land.

Enjoy the good life on beautiful and quiet Sweezey Lake. Lots of outdoor space with private walking trails and abundant wildlife. Newly renovated interior with great lake views. Enjoy cool lake breezes on the screened-in porch or the hot tub and fire pit on a cool night. Get on the water (except during the winter) with a private dock, kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, and paddle boat. Lots of other great amenities - gas fireplace, RV water and electric hookup (please coordinate with owner in advance if you intend to bring RV), tent platform, porch TV, EV charger, and bikes.

Liability Waiver:
You understand that swimming, biking, hiking and the use of non-motorized boats ("Outdoor Activities") is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from Outdoor Activities and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that Outdoor Activities may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person with health risks, or engaging in Outdoor Activities while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to wear life jackets while on or in the water. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. All guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that booking constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between guests and owner. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from Outdoor Activities. Our hearts desire.
The. Cottage was clean & bright with all the amenities. The hot tub & gas fire were wonderful.Who ever thought of the door to close off main living from bedrooms was genious, specially for early to bed & rise folks.The trails and the view were just lovely.We were a busy graduation family group that so much enjoyed the property!

Clean and quiet on a nice little lake
Clean cottage with great lake views. It was a little colder than we anticipated, but we still tried to get out and enjoy the property as much as possible. The nature trails were nice for a little walk.

Great Easter Trip
The property was exactly as pictured and described, and the owner was readily available and easy to communicate with. We were allowed to check in early and the property was great for our extended family egg hunt! Will definitely come back!

Such a relaxing stay!!!
We had a fabulous time! Between walking the property, kayaking, sitting by a fire at night and chilling in the hot tub, I can’t pick which we enjoyed the most because they were all wonderful!!! If it had been a little warmer we would have also made great use of the screened in porch. We found that even though Manchester is small, it has some great places like the market, the distillery and the diner. The diner had amazing breakfast!! We also really enjoyed the indoor space. The views of the lake from the bedroom were awesome. And sitting by the indoor fire was also very nice. Would definitely stay again!!!!

Thanksgiving getaway with friends
Our party of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday. We have had this tradition of meeting up for the last decade. The house had ample space for us all. We enjoyed fires outside and relaxing in the hot tub at night. It was too cold during our stay to enjoy playing on the lake but we enjoyed looking at it. The view with the sun rising in the morning was gorgeous. With the cold air we really appreciated the heater in the corner. It was amazing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We all want to buy a counter top ice maker now. We enjoyed walking the trails behind the house.

The house and amenities are exactly as listed. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied with all the needed utensils. My group loves to cook and we had great time. Very nice property at the end of dead end road which made it private and peaceful.

Girl's weekend
The cottage was the perfect place for our girl's weekend. We took advantage of the beautiful weather to kayak, have a bonfire and enjoy the hot tub. The cottage was clean, comfortable, fully stocked and close enough for DoorDash to deliver. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lake Sweezey and would definitely return.

Perfect weekend for R&R
We loved the cottage. It was clean and had everything we could possibly need. The cookies were a nice touch. The view is unbelievable and the swans came by multiple times. We even took the paddle boat out on the water with our girls. They loved the big yard and the swing. There was plenty to do for both the kids and adults. We had a couple fires, grilled yummy steaks, enjoyed the hot tub and made s’mores. The house is comfortable and clean. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hope to come back in the summer next year to really enjoy the lake and trails.
