"A lovely house. The grounds are phenomenal with lovely views of the countryside. Plenty of room for people. Mahil was very helpful and approachable. Pool is glorious and huge. There was a heating issue with the pool but Mahil fixed it without haste. Slight issue is the shop is probably 20 minutes away. Also we paid extra for sheets and towels as didn’t have enough room in the car but there was only one towel each and no floor mat or tea towel. Otherwise very lovely property."

"A really lovely gite in a lovely village, with a convenient garden attached with table, chairs and sun loungers in the afternoon shade. Gite conversion was fine, though some of the equipment was idiosyncratic, with microwave/grill but no oven. Only a two burner hob and unnecessary dishwasher (for 2 people?). 3 steak knives but no butter knives. The dining/living room cupboards were ancient and two of the doors fell off while we were there. "When Mieke welcomed us, we felt immediately at home she couldn't have done more to make us feel at home and this continued through the week, checking on us and providing us with cooling fans, advice on places to see and anything else we needed. The property rustic with huge amount of character. It is in a very rural quiet setting but within an easy drive of places of interest in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. Would definitely recommend if traditional is what you are after."

"We had a lovely relaxing couple of weeks 11-25 May 2024. Karima and Mark were great hosts. The weather wasn’t great unusually for this time of year so we only used the pool a few times which was a shame as I love to swim. We made the most of what good weather we had. My husband loves to cycle so on the dry days he explored the area on his bike. The house was lovely and we had most things we needed."
