"As advertised. Comfortable with plenty of room in a quiet neighborhood. The pool was a nice addition. It was a little chilly to swim but we had a picnic lunch on the deck. Our daughter and her kids were staying at a nearby RV park and came over several times. Only negative was the playhouse that was in poor condition and maybe a bit unsafe. I would recommend fixing or removing it."

"We came in to town for a wedding. The place was extremely clean and the quality of the space was better than the listing pictures. It was near a good variety of restaurants and things to do. The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If you enjoy being close to night life, this is the perfect stay for you!"

"Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!"

For a one bedroom, lots of space inside and out. Would be great for a family reunion, barbecue, party of any kind. Bottom bathroom would need to work! Fishing NOT so good, but guys tried and enjoyed themselves. Nice to sit out and enjoy the view. Master bathroom without a door NOT for everyone but also HUGH. We needed help getting into...

"From the initial contact about the venue every thing was inviting and Erica made us feel very welcome. The venue itself has so much to offer as it has spacious rooms, a tranquil atmosphere, easy access to restaurants and an onsite store. There are so many things that can be done while at the location. The owner was easy to contact and we had no issues our entire stay. I highly recommend staying at Maison Freetown and will be back in the near future."

The staff was very apologetic, however I contacted the front desk the night prior to arrival and was told that I could check-in an hour early.
