Wonderful staff! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. The castle was decked out for Christmas and it looked lovely! We really enjoyed looking around the castle and our room was lovely.

Romantic and cozy castle getaway!

We enjoyed the stay at Kokkedal Slotshotel a lot. The castle itself is impressive and cozy, with lots of historical details to get see. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Again we were given the worst room in the hotel. I believe that happens when you book through a 3rd party site. Our room was next to the stairs and the large banquet space where a party was going on.

I had made a reservation at Kokkedal Slotshotel by mistake in Jylland, not in Sjælland where there is a hotel by exact the same name. When I showed up it was too late to cancel in Jylland. I was told this is a known problem and happens quite often. After several calls to the hotel in Jylland I still could not get my money back. This is poor quality an service.

Da jeg kom kl 15 blev jeg mødt af en nøgle hængende på døren og der var intet personale. Oplevede først en sød ung dame næste morgen som sørgede for morgenmad og udtjekning. Der var ingen andre gæster, hvilket betød jeg var helt alene på hele slottet. Slottet var smukt, men værelset var ultra koldt og ydervinduet kunne ikke lukkes helt. I beskrivelsen stod der personale ind til kl 18.00 og havde egentlig regnet med at kunne købe en kop kaffe eller noget andet at drikke da jeg kom, men dette var ikke muligt. Måske man med fordel kunne overveje at gøre det muligt at lave en kop kaffe på værelset, når der ikke er personale? Sensorlyset på toilettet tændte af sig selv om natten, hvilket er en skidt ting, når man er alene på et slot.
Her kan man se at vinduet ikke kunne lukke helt.

de mest fantastiske omgivelser smuk natur og udsigt fra gården til marker og fjord det er så fantastisk at kunne gå på opdagelse i rundt på det gamle slot hvor jeg faktisk boede i min barndom for 38 år siden jeg var en af de sidste der boede der inden det blev til hotel så et var en meget særlig oplevelse at værre tilbage hvor det glæder mig så flot de holdet slottet og der er så meget åbent man kan gå rundt i og sidde i salonerne

Rigtig dårlig info omkring morgenmaden ,ved ankomst får man at vide der er morgenmad mellem 8,00 og 10,00 og ikke noget om det koster ekstra,først ved afrejse bliver man fortalt at morgenmaden koster ekstra.

Virkelig den dårligste oplevelse jeg nogensinde har oplevet, og jeg har oplevet meget. Magen til amatør sted skal man lede længe efter, en kok som ikke kan lave mad, en tjener som ikke aner hvad en alkoholfri øl er. En pool som mere lignede voldgraven end en pool, nej aldrig igen.

Billigt værelse - dyr mad

Vi havde et rigtig fint værelse, med mange flotte gamle møbler. Desværre var ingen afstolele rare at sidde i. Der var ikke fungerende udsugning på badeværelser. Og jeg foretrækker guldfisk i vokdgraven frem for sølvfisk på badeværelset. Vi ankom palmesøndag, hvilket åbenbart stadig var udenfor sæson. Så de første 2 morgner var morgenmaden til 2 personer, 4 grovboller, 2 spsk youghurt med musli, 1 tallerken med 2 halve skiver rugbrød, 2 skiver rullepølse, 3 små skiver spegepølse, 1 skive brie, 3 små skiver ost, lidt frugt og grønt, syltetøj og nutella i plastik. Første dag var der også 2 meget gummi agtige købe pandekager, anden dag var det en 2 cm skive kringle (til 2 personer), vi blev mætte men det var ikke spændende - tilgengæld kostede det 135 kr. pr. person. Første aften valgte vi at spise i resturanten. 3 retter, som vist desværre ikke blev anretter i hotellets køkken. En jordskokkesuppe (tror vi da nok, for der var ingen præsentation af noget af maden), som var så tyk at den ikje ville falde af tallerken, selv om man vendte den på hovedet. Hovedretten var lækker, men kartoflerne kom først lige før vi var færdige med at spise. Deserten, i citroncreme i glas, var også fin. 399 for menuen var måske ok, men de 499 for 3 glas vin var klart for meget, i forhold til hvad der kom i glasset. Hvis det er standarten på Danske Slotshoteller, skal vi ikke besøge flere af dem.

Meget skuffet.

Pris og kvalitet hører ikke sammen. Vi var de eneste gæster på et fuldstændigt menneske tomt slot. Telefon nummeret vi fik oplyst, var til en mand, der opholdt sig i den anden ende af landet. Ingen hjælp at hente. Mange mangler: intet wifi, intet fjernsyn, ingen room service, ingen restaurant, ingen bar, stort set intet af det, der står på hjemmesiden eller under "Hotels.com".
