「Absolutely beautiful home. I felt like I was going back in time. I spent Thanksgiving night there and did not encounter another living soul during my visit. Walking through the house was an undescribable feeling, as if I both did and did not belong there (yes a was a guest --but in the wrong century!). Time travel. 「One of the best stays my husband and I have experienced in our entire lives. The property is beautiful, filled with life and history. It's incredibly cozy and comfortable, we both slept well. Breakfast was delicious and we didn't need lunch either day. 「The room was clean and beautiful, overlooking the white mountains. I guess I didn't read the fine print because we were expecting some dining option. Sylvesters for dinner and the Market for breakfast were not far away.
The coffee/beverage bar in the lounge is extraordinary.
Would've appreciated some cleaning attention to the windows and screens so we could've taken full advantage of the view. I know that upkeep of the place must be all-comsuming.
The host was quite welcoming and attentive....
