Steller's View, a secluded 2 bedroom apartment near downtown Brownsville.
Steller's View is a new two-bedroom apartment in a secluded wooded setting and it is within 1/2 mile of parks, museums, restaurants and shopping.
Located in Historic Brownsville, Oregon, this attractive apartment has three rooms: 1) The great room has a sleeping area with a cozy queen bed, a living room area with a futon couch that converts into another queen bed and a dining area/kitchenette. The great room concept gives Steller's View an open spacious feel; 2) The attic bedroom has two twin beds; and 3) The full bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. The apartment includes WiFi, heating, and air conditioning, blackout curtains for a good night's sleep, and a spacious deck with a BBQ.
When we receive your reservation we will normally plan on configuring the apartment sleeping accommodations according to the number of people in your party as follows:
1. Two or less: The futon is a couch and the attic door is locked. 2. Three or four: The futon is a bed and the attic door is locked. 3. Five or six: The futon is a bed and the attic door is unlocked. We will have VRBO send you a bill for an extra $50 attic cleaning fee.
If you want any configuration other than the above please send us a message stating what you want and we will make it happen.
Note: If we unlock the attic bedroom door because you have five or more people in your party or because you request it, we will have VRBO send you a bill for an extra $50 attic cleaning fee.
The deck is for lounging or dining. A bird feeder is suspended from the Walnut Tree just off the deck. With luck you can view the Steller's jays that often visit. We would be very interested in seeing any bird photos you take.
The Steller's View apartment is built over our garage. When we open or close the door, you'll likely hear a rumbling noise. We will not use it after 10 p.m.
Stroll around the quaint little town and visit various parks, shops, and eating establishments, and see key filming locations for the movie classic, "Stand by Me", all within walking distance.
We are not misspelling Steller's View. George Wilhelm Steller discovered Steller's jays in 1971. They are frequently sighted on our property. “Stellar” with an "a" is how we describe our guests.
