「This property is beautiful and the cottage was immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway with kids and dog. We hiked the nearby hydro Palmer Rapids portage route every day. The kids cold plunged in the river and then warmed up by the bonfire. 「If your looking for tranquility this is the place. I suprised my wife for her birthday with a weekend away and some much needed down time. We canoed the pond and walked the trails. The beaver's occasionally swam by and we were visited by the blue jays and the gray jays. Bring your candles for those candle lit evenings, remember no hydro. 「Cottage is incredibly comfortable with many little details considered. Honestly the best cottage I've stayed in and i would absolutely book again. 「Have stayed at cottage 3 times now to attend Bancroft Curling Bonspiel. Perfect location and accommodation for the 4 of us, each getting our own bedroom. All aspects of accommodation met our needs as it is a cozy comfortable place and the host Jesse was very easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.」

「My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning.」

「Location was amazing, right on the water. We were able to kayak and SUP our entire stay. Janice was an amazing host. She shared so much of her local knowledge that we experienced things we may have missed had she not told us. Drive from Toronto is very easy. Hoping to stay there again.」

「My family of five had a great long weekend here. Clean and spacious house, great deck, firepit and dock by a clear and quiet lake. General store and a few restaurants just a few mins drive away. Shelley and Henry were wonderful hosts and made sure we settled in well. Highly recommend!」

「We had a very enjoyable week at Loon Lodge. The property is ideally situated on a nice sandy beach with beautiful sunsets. The cottage is well equipped and nicely set back from the water. Lots of kayaking, cycling, and hiking nearby. I highly recommend this cottage.」

「I stayed here for a work trip, the cottage was well stocked with every day items like cooking supplies. The yard and patio is really lovely and has grill, seating area, firepit, and play area for kids. Lots of nice amenities for relaxing. The location was very convenient to downtown Bancroft. I appreciated the security cameras around the property, I felt safe despite being in a more remote area. I had several questions for the host prior to my trip, he was very responsive. Thanks!」
