We had such an amazing time at Cabins on Maple River. The cabin and property are absolutely stunning. The balcony over looking the river was so relaxing and peaceful. We did have a few very minor issues like the front bedroom bathroom sink was very clogged up but in a half hour i had it pkungered out and draining fine. The lights in the upstairs hallway were burned out so i bought some new ones and took care of that. Someone staying before us unpaired the remote for the back bedroom took a while but got it paired back to the tv. This place is a must stay and we will definitely be back next year. It is close to Boyne Mnt. And Spring Harbor, Nobs Nub too. The area was beautiful and the people were so nice. You have to stay here to understand just how nice and peaceful it is. Thank you Mike for such a wonderful place to stay. Joe&Kelly Elgert

Love the fact it was a duplex with two kitchens. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Need some TLC of minor fixes. We had a great time using this as base camp!

Ski Getaway

Beautiful cabin for a quick ski trip with the family. Happy to find that there was a pack n’ play and toddler booster seat in the closet for us. Lots of room, cozy cabin vibes, and close to multiple ski hills and Petoskey.

Great - we will be back

We loved our stay. There are 2 maintenance issues that did not detract from our enjoyment but the owner should know about. The tv in the upstairs bedroom at the back does nor work. The microwave needs to be replaced. Most of the buttons do not function. We were able to turn it on and manually turn it off after a minute but you cant't use any other button

Lovely quiet spot with a gurgling stream. Cabin itself was luxurious, great beds and everything you needed. House rules clear and very reasonable. Jane was most helpful. Great dining at golf course. Convenient to area attractions.

Beautiful cabin with comfortable beds and a full kitchen. The river was in the back yard and the property was well cared for. We will definitely go back!

What’s beautiful cabin in the woods! It was very clean and we enjoyed the deck in the evenings. It is close to both Petoskey and Mackinaw—probably 20 minutes away.

The cabin was beautiful. It was well kept and very comfortable. We could easily hear the neighbors if they were also in the kitchen area of their unit, but it was never bad. The view was wonderful. Loved the fireplace. We plan to return.

Very comfortable. Door parking, door code safety, awesome first impression inside. Spacious. All amenities available. Beds are clean and comfortable. River is 50’ from your front porch. Beautiful setting in Fall. Very enjoyable.

Beautiful cabin, very clean. Loved the showers, and especially loved the heat lamp/fan in the Master Suite. Calm week listening to the river from the balcony or back deck. Nights are so quiet and you can see all the stars! My kids and dog had a blast running around, enjoying nature/hiking. You don't get that in the city. We plan on returning!

Very beautiful and cozy cabin, scenic views of river and beyond were amazing (early March...there was lots of snow). We expected it though! Main reason for us traveling up there was to hopefully see northern lights. Didn’t see any, however, we did not let that get us down! There are plenty of snow related activities to do and lots of good places to eat! We see ourselves renting this cabin again in the future! Very pleased 😀

I planned a Writer’s Retreat and found this cabin. It looked even better in person! From the beginning the property manager was pleasant and reasonable. He always returned messages and in an timely manner. All of the authors were pleased with everything! The property was clean and in great condition. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn’t have to search for anything. It’s beautiful at night and very peaceful. We would definitely stay again. I’m glad I picked this location for our Writer’s Retreat!
