Getaway time for relaxing and fishing with a little shopping

Great stay

Check in was no problem and the process before check in was easy. During the booking process the staff was great and answered our questions and were very helpful. Overall it was relaxing and a wonderful place to stay

Do not rent without reading this

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The second bedroom and bathroom are NOT accessible from the main unit. You must go outside, around to the back and up the stairs to get to it. Two couples, no problem. A family....your children will be far away.

Loved the location and cabin but tvs didnt work, oven was broke and washing machine was broke.

This was our second time staying here. First time was great but this time there were many things that needed fixing.

Great vacation place...could use a cleaning!

Great place to stay...could use better communications on where to find things, like how to get to the upstairs bedroom. Very, very dusty...needs a good cleaning!

Wonderful spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was beautiful, had some minor maintenance quirks, but overall a wonderful little cabin. Location was wonderful. Elk came right up in the yard, had fun chasing fireflys with the kids, and caught a few trout right in front of the house.

What a view!

We loved the cabin and the wonderful access to the river. Thought when it was listed as 2 bedrooms that would be great for our family. However 2nd bedroom is through it's own access through the garage--we weren't comfortable with that as we a teen and preteen. Would be great for two seperate couples to share or if our girls were older.

Fishing weekend

Nice weekend. Location to river made it able to come n go to house with ease. Pullout couch not great sleeping but other beds nice. Neighbor informed us about burning ban, but she wasn’t worried about her dogs charging at us.

Cabin on the river

Nice place,but the dryer was broken. Was told that they were going to send a technician out, but never did. There were very few channels on the TV to watch. Pay attention when booking, because I did not realize that there was no internet when we booked. Could use a few more supplies as far as trash bags and such and and appliances that were not old and actually worked.

Only issue is the television set up, all TV's have to watch same channel. It would be nice if upstairs was on a different cable box.

The River Cabin

Had a great time at the cabin. My only issue was locating the cabin because it was on an unmarked street. The directions given to me by Yellow Rose were spot on. Be cautious when entering Dam Rd as you dip into the driveways. Great for two couples or if you want the kids to stay upstairs as the entrance to the second bedroom area is through the garage access. Will return soon for additional water activities.

Quaint Little Place

Enjoyed our stay after issue with check-in. Would have been nice to hear from property manager when I contacted emergency number for check-in information. Thank you to let friendly gentleman I got ahold of the next morning about mixup with rental agreement. Overall, it was nice to sit back and relax in the little cottage we rented. We got a little bit of fishing done in between the rain.

My first stay at a cabin rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental agency, Yellow Rose, had a super hero, Casey, who calmed my fears on the phone regarding renting without "seeing" and she handled the requests I had with no problem. Very professional

Family stay

The cabin had a nice view of you like a river view , but the inside was not so great . The carpet had stains and they were wet it smelt like wet mold in the down stairs bedroom , stove didn’t work good oven had to prop it open just to get hot , washer was broke would not was clothes at all , and microwave was not working either we got one 2 days later . I wouldn’t rent again .

Beautiful cabin tucked away near the mountains

We loved our visit to this property! It was close to the mountains, shopping and casino. The cabin had everything needed and really liked the split layout. The river was super close and very peaceful. The only frustrating thing about our stay was the neighbors dogs on both sides of us did not once use a leash. The dogs were constantly in the yard or running in front of our vehicles when coming or going barking at us. I was very worried I was going to hit one. The neighbors didn't seem to care, they just stared at us and let their dogs chase after us.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I spent a lot of money for 4 nights expecting to fish at a convenient cabin on the river. Theyre having a drought...tried 4 different places away from the cabin w no luck. I feel they could be courteous and inform me of that problem.The kitchen was adequately stocked with worn out pans and a few pieces of older dinnerware. The fire at night was great! It was clean just outdated. Id probably come back when the water levels return...

Kings River Cabin

My grandsons loved the place. Great location on the river about half way between Cherokee and Bryson City. The sleeping areas were as advertised. Had a hard time figuring some things out. Examples: how to get to upstairs bedroom; and how to use TV’s not in main room. A homeowner manual would have been nice. Some things didn’t work or were broken. Microwave in main kitchen did not work. Knob on oven was missing. Not the cleanest place I’ve stayed. Someone had burned plastic or something on stovetop. Whole place could stand a good cleaning. Heat worked great. TV in main room with cable worked good. Loved being on the river and having place to play in yard. Very accessible to restaurants in Cherokee or Bryson City.
