Room was very nice and comfortable with basic amenities (refrigerator, hair dryer, etc.). Room has plenty of outlets. For visitors that are interested, the property is right next to the Penobscot River. On the downside: 1) The shower diverter switch in the bath tub only partially works (needs repair). 2) Hotel parking spaces are somewhat cramped.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Everything you need for an overnight stay in Bucksport. The view out the window was amazing! The walkway was right out the door. A beautiful sunrise. A five minute walk to a great breakfast restaurant. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. We will be back!

Lady behind the desk was more interested in her phone than anything else. She let me know I didn’t have a reservation before even looking. Super not friendly and the room had no heat.

An enjoyable stay in Maine
Office staff night and morning was helpful and informative. Our room was adequate for our needs. Warren's Waterfront Restaurant a fairly short walk away served delicious breakfast food in a friendly atmosphere.

We had a very spacious room, a comfortable king size bed and it was very clean. The best part about our stay was the amazing view of the river, Fort Knox and the bridge! The check-in lady was lovely and friendly. The only negative, and not a deal breaker, was that there was a big gap under our door to hallway which made it seem like whoever was out there was right beside us. Will definitely recommend and sty again!

Basically pretty good
Basically good. Nice location with walkway along the river right behind the hotel. View from window to the river was very nice. Only complaints were that there weren’t hooks or bars for hanging towels and there were no grab bars in the shower which had a slippery floor.

We were arriving late so they helped us by sticking our room cards to the main door so that we would get to check-in. Great view, very clean and lots of parking. I had a great stay.

Nice old hotel. Necessary amenities only. All other services a short walk or drive away . So nice not hearing every door closing and TV coming through the walls. Staff pleasant and helpful to get around town

the receptionist at the desk had to be the nicest, most friendly and welcoming host I have ever come across in all my hotel travels. our room is comfortable and we have a million dollar view of the inlet and the bucksport bridge. we will be coming back!

Good place to stop on your trip to Acadia

Bucksport is a proud little town on the rebound. The Inn has been nicely maintained, located in the downtown and convenient to several dining options (not many for dinner). Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful river walk just outside the hotel and a spectacular view of the bridge.

When we checked in we were told our room did not have a river view and yet all the pictures show water view. Secondly we were given a ground floor facing parking lot - without any choice to change to another room …I am sure the hotel mentioned all rooms have a view on the river , but maybe I am mistaken by the 20 river view pictures posted !?

As in previous reviews, you can’t beat the location of this hotel. It was clean, personnel from front desk to housekeeping were friendly. Dinner across the street was awesome. For the price of this hotel you’d hope b’fast was included but down the street on the waterfront was a good option Older but well kept property, would return
