“There is not much nice to say. The hotel smelled because so many people live there abd are coming all different kinds of food. No matter what door you exit the hotel through you get hit in the face with cigarette smoke. The people who live there are rude and act like you just walked into their home without an invitation. The staff fits not acknowledged you abd when they do they do not use a greet they just say, "what do you need?" It says the have breakfast but when you get there they tell you……

“The hotel is beautiful but the service was not so good and it was not the fault of the staff. Many items in the restaurant were unavailable and I couldn’t even get a beer! Other than that I would probably give them another chance.”

“We had reserved two handicapped rooms with roll in showers. They had overbooked the amenities so only one room had the shower. It took us 20 minutes to check in because the gentleman was on the phone with a customer who was going week by week for rentals. Our room, 418, did not have a blackout curtain. There was dirt that was in the center of the floor in both rooms that could possibly have been from not changing the filters. We also had two spiders in our room’s tub and my aunt had a bug in her……

“Breakfast wasn't quite up to part with other HIE's I have stayed at and in general it could be a bit cleaner.”

“The deluxe continental breakfast was lacking! It was a "Grab and Go" breakfast when we got there. Not what we expected.”

“We love this place. That said this year we arrived during a power outage and had been placed in a pet friendly room (we did not have pets with us). I said it would be okay as they couldn't move us due to power outage. The room was not up to par as it has lots of hair (pet and human?) all over one of the beds. Our porch was also missing both chairs. That said we love the property. Dinner at the lodge was amazing. As this was our 5th year, we will be back next year and hope this year was just a……

“The property was amazing! With a puppy as part of our family, we especially enjoyed walking the campus which was quiet and beautiful. The room was clean and staff very helpful. Highly recommend!”

“Attractive, well located. Lovely dining room where breakfast was served. Bedroom comfortable. Could have used more furniture and a suitcase stand.”
