We informed reception quickly after arrival that we had no hot water. After an hour and another visit to reception a nice guy was sent to confirm that we had no hot water. After booking an upgraded room we had to shower in cold water. The water was hot. To be fair the next morning I asked for some concession which was given by the lady on reception who was excellent on check in and check out.
We also had contact with bar staff, and housekeeping who were all brilliant. However we ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The staff were soulless. Whilst efficient not one smile and my wife and I both noted , no eye contact. We felt they wanted us in and out asap.
