「Hidden gem! SUPER CLEAN! Very cool the way the owners have renovated this 185 year old building from a general store to a comfortable place to get some R&R. I really appreciate the warning about the stairs leading to the rooms. Having mobility issues and booking homes can be aggravating, you spend hours research your trip ( where to stay, eat, mode of transport, activities , etc ) only to find out that the property is difficult to manage moving about the rooms. 」

「This is our 2nd stay at Anchorhold Farm/The Lodge. This time we took our adult kids for a long weekend to spend time together, enjoy the bourbon trail, Keeneland and playing games around the big table. Everyone of them said they would return in a heartbeat. You won't find a more beautiful property or accommodations. The large space and bedrooms were comfortable and nicely appointed.
