「We stayed because this apartment was close to family we were visiting. It’s kind of tucked away and not super close to “stuff to do” but it was great for what we needed. It was clean, the host was responsive, and we had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable - the couches were fine for couches but would have been rough if we had planned on sleeping on them. 「Although we live only 25 minutes away, we had never been to this lake. Definitely off the grid as written and we found the cottage charming as a 1922 cottage could be. We were surprised at the noise from a local event center on Sunday evening, but they got quiet after 10pm. Boaters were active until 11pm on the weekends which also surprised us. 「We had a nice stay, there was complimentary Netflix, the place felt private (though the road was loud at times), and the place was very clean, one might even say too clean (the floors were a bit slippery in the kitchen and hallways). Also the water in the kitchen sink had two settings: scalding hot (as it was running you could see the steam coming off it) or cold, hopefully thats fixed promptly so that it's not too hot to burn someone.」
