Outfitted with a high-end sectional, two hammock chairs, and slips for both a boat and two jet skis, the dock is a favorite hangout spot. For on-the-water fun, guests can enjoy 2 kayaks, two adult fishing kayaks, a paddleboat, and two paddleboards—all included with your stay.

Outdoors, two custom-built ramps lead from the back patio to key gathering areas, including the fire pit, private dock, and a gradual lake/lakebed entry point—making lakeside moments more accessible for everyone.

Nestled just around the corner from the Burnet County Park Boat Ramp, the property offers effortless access to boating, swimming, and lake adventures.
Directly across the street, guests will find the Blue Store—a local favorite where you can fuel up, grab essentials or snacks, and even order made-to-order pizza. A brand-new restaurant (opened in 2024) also sits conveniently across the road, giving you even more dining options just steps from your door.
Only minutes away, Spider Mountain Bike Park promises adrenaline-pumping fun with a unique lift-served downhill biking experience. Riders of all skill levels can take the chair lift to the top and cruise down a variety of trails—an unforgettable adventure just 7 minutes from the property.
For a relaxed outing, head to Templeton’s, a local hot spot known for delicious food, great drinks, and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. Enjoy a game of pickleball, disc golf, or billiards while taking in the Hill Country vibe.

IMPORTANT PROPERTY POLICIES
To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you observe the following:
Smoke-Free Environment: Smoking is not permitted indoors or outdoors. Vaping is allowed outdoors only.
Pet-Free Property: Due to severe family allergies, Whitetail Cove is strictly a no-pets property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for our family and all guests.
Security: For your peace of mind, Ring doorbell cameras are installed at the front and back entrances, as well as above the garage. You will receive your personalized entry code two days prior to check-in.
Fireplace Use: Please note that indoor fireplaces are not available for guest use, in accordance with our insurance policy.
Lake Levels: Lake Buchanan, like Lake Travis and many of the Highland Lakes, is a variable-level lake. Water levels naturally fluctuate from season to season and year to year. Please note that we do not issue refunds based on lake levels, as these conditions are beyond our control.
Uncontrollable Circumstances: We are not responsible for power outages, inclement weather, or other acts of nature. As such, refunds will not be issued for disruptions caused by factors outside of our control.
Unexpected Maintenance Issues: While we work diligently to ensure the property is in excellent condition for your stay, occasionally something may be damaged by a prior guest and there may not be sufficient time for repairs before your arrival. Rest assured, we address all issues as quickly and thoroughly as possible.
