“House was just as shown in pictures. Owner was very responsive when we contacted him. Very clean and well appointed for our needs. Would stay here again. ”

“We didn’t actually stay, the place was a little odd, and the guests I was with were a bit uncomfortable. There were a lot of spider eggs under the furniture and my mother saw numerous bugs. The padlock the get inside was either broken or dead so we were instructed to go through the other entrance of the house which was another rental, but they kept a spare key to our unit (the basement) in the upstairs rental which kind of scared some of us. Overall, the basement itself was spacious and cute……

“Wonderful dock for boats, and we had great waterskiing at the north end of the lake. Incredibly responsive hosts. Home was beautiful and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole large group. Would stay there again!!!”

“Communication with the host was spotty in the 9 months leading to our trip with some messages gone unanswered. Payment system was a mess but we were offered a discount for our troubles which was nice. The shower head in the primary bathroom was rusted, leaking and broken so we couldn't use it during our stay. Host came and offered to fix it, but wasn't a huge deal as there were 2 other showers and it would take a while to fix and dry out wall. The shower in the garage conversion is a raw……

“I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the……

“Super nice, cozy house! Everything was new, top of the line quality. The private, fenced in yard was throughly enjoyed by my pup and the office with beautiful window was used daily as this was a working vacation for me. ”
