Cosy warm self contained cottage in this historic location. Pets welcome too. A skip from local cafes and pubs. Walk the town and see some of its fabulous bluestone houses.

Accommodation with a difference. The dwelling is well appointed and comfortably furnished and it was appreciated the rooms were preheated before arrival because the night was cold and the structure would not retain heat well. The accommodation is spacious and convenient in the context of other facilities in Burra.

I was very happy with the accommodation. It is roomy, comfortable, stylish and in a good location. Burra gets very cold in winter overnight but when I collected the key I was told how best to use the heater. The bedding, pillows and mattress were clean and very comfortable. The bedroom also had blackout curtains which were hung well (no gaps) and made for a good sleep. Will definitely be back.

A lovely place to stay! The history of Burra is fascinating and the cottages (with its own history) are a comfortable, cosy and central place to base your stay. Thoroughly recommend staying here!

A Special Stay!

Our stay at Paxton Square Cottages was really lovely! My husband and I explored the historical town of Burra! It was very special to have the experience to stay in a historical place!
