Lovely getaway

The house was perfect and beautiful. Fell in love with it as soon as we entered. Loved the layout and decor. Felt very comfortable and at home there. Perfect location, nice and quiet street. Backing on to water with lovely view of the bay. House was very clean and well presented. Will definitely stay again

Family Holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at riverside. The house was clean, with comfortable beds and everything was in good condition. The lockup garage was excellent for our boat. Loved having a dishwasher and full kitchen. Used washing machine, although it rained a lot while we were there and a dryer would have been handy. It did get very hot in the house, perhaps some security screens on front and back doors would be good so the breeze could come through at night? Air con would be a great addition. We missed having WiFi but it did give the kids a chance to learn the roulette of free to air tv! Nice and close to the river, we parked our tinny on the other side of the tidal pool and used our sup to get over there at high tide. Otherwise the boat ramp is 150m via a path out the back of the house. Good value for money on a relaxing holiday.

Wonderful

This is our 2nd time staying and jas the first we cannot fault it. Gorgeous house, a beautiful view and the house is always immaculately clean. Can't wait to visit again

Great location

This was our 3rd stay & absolutely love it here. The house is so homely & comfortable. Days & nights (when not fishing) spent on the back verandah with the Burrum river as an outlook - beautiful! Everything you need is in the house - just bring food & linen........& your fishing gear of course! Will definitely be back!

Reviewer Comments: A lovely Balinese style home, good position for fishing, and nice outlook, howeverkitchen cupboards under sink need replacing as badly water damaged. Bath needs assistance bars to comply with safety rules, but overall comfy for an older property.

Good location

We enjoyed our short stay. It was a relatively quiet area. There was a noisy child next door Saturday morning which disturbed the peace. Nice property. Would have been good if there was a dish cloth & brush to do washing up. Would recommend and stay again.

Nice place neat and tidy. But was disappointed that there were no blinds or curtains for the front of the house for privacy. Specially at night you feel everyone in the neighbourhood can see right through.

If the bbq was to be left clean maybe some cleaning utensils and cleaning product would be a great start. These are not what people normally pack for their time away. Overall great place to stay.

Great back patio for eating outdoors and large backyard for a play. Some TLC is needed in the kitchen though with cupboard doors a bit worse for wear and appliances from the 1970s. Both the spa baths were out of order during our stay which was disappointing. No room for the boat although 2 cars could fit with garage and driveway.

The view of the river speaks for itself it was so calming and quiet and is a great location for walking across the River at low tide and just down one of the tracks. Very nice stay

The house is very comfortable , the only thing it needs is blinds that you can close on the front and back windows and doors, of a night . It’s very open . My older parents felt Like they were on show . But it’s a lovely house, clean everything you need is there .
