Bush Head Shoals State Park

The room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative I had was the bath towels are so thin and small it was hard to dry off. And the room is pretty small so the bed was at the AC unit so blows directly across the bed, in your face if you are on that side. We were only there one night.

They have two restaurants, while we were there the rooftop restaurant was closed on the holiday, which is fine. They gave us other local options to dine at. Harry’s seafood is right down the street and the food there was great. The staff was nice, my first introduction was from Sam on the night shift and he gave us all the details on to maximize our stay. They did have some construction going on but we slept right through it. Overall, the stay was 10/10
