「I stayed for one night whilst travelling for a mixture of business and pleasure. It had been a long hot day so it was a pleasure to step into the cool of this lovely old inn. The welcome was warm and friendly and in fact I think the friendliness of the staff is my standout reason to stay. Stand out feature is the food at typical pub prices but far from typical. It was superb and makes it a destination in itself. Such a pleasant change to eat real home cooking and not some chilled and reheated offering. Full English breakfast included in room rate and also superb. 」

「It’s big hotel, a bit old, but you can see it was very nice when it was built. Room is bigger than other places, it was quite good for me to have a business trip stay, look at the price you won’t find any better. I am recommending this place for just a night short stay, this is not premium hotel, but nice.」
