This upper level duplex cottage is only about 200 feet from the beach. Renting Island Fantasea gives you access to a master suite with a king bed and full bath, and the other two bedrooms each have a double and twin size bed offering a comfortable and spacious vacation for up to 8 guests! Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with comfortable living area with large plush sofas and small dining area. Offering all the basics to get you started on your vacation, such as toilet paper and paper towels, we're certain you'll be happy upon arrival. With access to a resort pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, and unlimited beach access, Island FantaSea is sure to make all you vacation Fanta-seas come true!

The place was nice, clean, furnished and 2 houses back from the beach.. However the wifi didn't work the first few days we were there...we had to call the tech support number a few times. Wasn't really an issue, more of an inconvenience than anything. Also make sure you bring spare triple a batteries for the supplied Roku remotes.

Family holidays

The place is very beautiful and practical. The beach is good and not too crowded like some other places. We had the impression from the photos that we were the second line of housing after the beach but rather a 5th house at the back. There is a BBQ outside but it is located on the ground, law of the house and must provide briquette and all the inconveniences that come with that... There was only a stove in the kitchen and it was not non-stick. We spent the week rubbing it! Apart from his three negative remarks, we recommend this place which was all in all very good. PS: Don't go to the nearest market to do your grocery shopping, opt for the Food Lion, much more variety and much less expensive

We had the best week. Spent time at beach. Had a beach view. All applications worked. Took ferry to Ocracoke. Drove to Lost Colony. Lighthouses .dog had a great time too

Buxton

Buxton is a unique place on Hatteras Island. The beach is enclosed and not overcrowded. And it is absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect. And the Fantasea accentuated the beauty of the beach. It is spacious and clean. When we arrived, one of the lamps was broken. I texted to the office and it was taken care of immediately. I highly recommend it.

June Fishing Trip

Clean and comfortable. Perfect size place for a family with 3 or 4 children or six people looking for an affordable getaway. Myself and 5 friends were there to fish. Perfect location to walk to the beach and, as the locals know, there is good fishing behind this property.
