Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Can’t beat the location. Problems encountered included broken dish washer, non functioning freezer, and inadequate A/C in the master. On site maintenance came and spent hours cleaning out all the A/Cs and declaring master A/C was fixed but no change, still didn’t not cool it off well. All other rooms’ A/C worked normally in contrast. Also sparse in detergents, soaps and shampoos. Would not recommend to a friend until all these issues were adequately addressed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We came across unit 30 in the Palms while on a search for a quiet, relaxing vacation rental in Costa Rica. The Palms exceeded our expectations, as did the unit. The property is immaculate, beautifully maintained, quiet, and right on the beach. Everything has been thought of here - they even have their own massage therapists right on the property. Unit 30 was incredible - comfy beds, modern kitchens, spacious rooms. To be able to watch the sunset from both the master bedroom verandah and the main floor walk-out was spectacular.The main infinity pool is big enough to do laps or just hand out and watch the ocean. There is also a smaller adults only pool.The Palms offers a concierge service beyond anything I've experienced - they will arrange literally anything and everything you need, and the staff is so lovely and friendly. Coco Loco restaurant is around 200m walk down the beach and they also deliver right to your unit. There is a bakery truck and fish truck that delivers to the property 2x a week which spoiled us even more! If you're looking for a peaceful, tranquil holiday, look no further. This place is literally a hidden gem. We can't wait to go back.

Beachfront condo

Playa Flamingo is beautiful and this condo was perfect for our trip. We had 2 couples and the unit fit our plans wonderfully.

Playa Flamingo review

The condominium unit was beautiful, well built with very nice finishes and well stocked. The beach was very beautiful also. However, the unit we were given was not the unit that was depicted in the pictures shown on its VRBO posting. Had we known what unit we eventually got was the one posted, we would not have rented it. Nowhere in the posting did it say that we may not get the unit shown in the pictures. Also, the manager was very nice, but very unreliable, unavailable, and not knowledgeable of what the contract consisted of. These are some significant downsides to renting here. Be sure to verify what unit you are getting and the views you would get from it before renting.
