"Little by little, this beautiful former Cinvebt is decaying. The owners seem unwilling to make the necessary investments to maintain this hotel at the level it once was, after its original conversion into a hotel. There used to be a central water heating system - now it is down to the usual electrical shower heads. There used to be central AC - now you will find small AC units mounted on the wall of your room - noisy and inefficient. The once pristine place is not kept clean. Even the sheets...

"Trying to get there was a nightmare, I came late to the airport and paid $500 to a tax driver to take us there. We went there via Ferry, got there around 11:30, the driver left us there and we were calling on the phone and no one answered, we knocked at the door for 20 minutes and nobody responded, we ringed the bell and nothing. I was so mad because it was raining and nobody showed up to open the door. We had to pay another 500 to go back t o Salvador and got there around 5:30 am. Place looks...

"This property is on a busy street. Make sure to request a room that does not face the street or you will be awakened at 3am with folks outside opening shops and preparing to open the street market. Front desk associates were nice and helpful (when possible). The cleanliness of this hotel was average - the sheets and bathroom were usable but not top notch."
