"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "The staff was very friendly and would go out of their way to make sure you had the best stay possible. The only downside was I couldn’t figure out how to turn the fan on in the bathroom. I looked everywhere for a switch but it is probably there and I just couldn’t find it. Also, the TV remove I couldn’t get it to turn the sound up or down but perhaps remotes are different in Ireland and I just don’t know the way to do it. Either way, it was a great experience."
