Tired after long hike
"Our rooms were not ready when we arrived so we had a beer in the bar. We were tired from hiking and there was no where to stretch out and relax. Room was pretty clean, but it looked like the carpet wasn't vacuumed too well, but was okay."

23 Jul 2019If you're driving from the Glasgow direction it's best to take the second Cairndow exit, as the hotel is very close to that end. If you enter from the first turn you have to drive a longer distance on a narrow single-track road.

17 Apr 2019The hotel is loch-side, but toward one end. Given recent weather patterns, this unfortunately meant that the water was quite low and the view was spoiled by the sludgy residue that stretched for a good distance from the normal shore.
