I was told to to bring government issued ID. When I showed them my driver's license (which matches the name on the booking), they refused to check me in unless I had my physical passport. I told them I've left it at home and I don't walk around Cairo with my passport for the risk of losing it. They ended up denying my stay. Expedia didn't even refund me yet. They said they'll "request" a refund from the hotel. So I was left stranded by both parties and left without a refund thus far.

Amazingly spacious 2 bed suite with huge balcony- perfect for friends sharing. Service around the pool was great during the day- very slow in the evening.Rooms are dated but clean. Location is great as a base for exploring Cairo.

Too old hotel. It was interesting to see. It must be a great place long time ago but with no renovation, facilities go down. Staff was nice but time to renovate. Maybe it is the case for entire Cairo. View from the balcony was great. Breakfast was fine.

The location of the hotel was great! The view of the Nile River was beautiful. The space itself is very large and cozy. Staff was very helpful. Bathrooms were a little outdated but everything else was perfect! Private kitchen and laundry was a great bonus as well.

Hôtel bien mais un peu désuet , par contre l emplacement n ai pas du tout celle indiqué sur la carte du site ! Si vous suivez l itinéraire directement vous arrivez place Tahir alors que c est bien plus haut ,les chauffeurs ont du mal à trouver .

I like the size of the accomodation. I was really big maybe 1600 square feet. It has 2 bedrooms. One with desk and chair, 2 toilets, separate kitchen, balconies, laundry room. When you wash the clothes, they come and collect wet clothes and dry them and bring them back.
